This came well-packaged. I put it together by myself in a couple hours. The instructions seemed intimidating at first, but were actually clear and easy to follow; all parts were there (with extra screws/etc., just in case). I was absolutely delighted to find that every hole in every board/piece was precise and required no finagling while putting it together. This is well-made and sturdy! Desk is great size, and the mechanism to raise/lower works great. I love having the different presets for various heights. I’ve had this desk for a few months now and I love it. It shipped when it said it would and came with everything to assemble. I will say it was very heavy, but maybe it wouldn’t be for someone who isn’t a 5’4 female. It came in a lot of pieces that were easy to put together and the instructions were clear. It fits everything I need, my only feedback would be that it would be nice to also have lights above the keyboard tray. When I say it fits everything I need, I have dual monitors, a laptop with docking station, keyboard and mouse. I still have more enough room for my coding books and any other paperwork plus my drinks for the day. The hydraulics work amazing and I love that I could save my settings from sitting to standing. I would have given 5 stars if there were lights over the keyboard. ... show more

I've wanted an electric desk for a long time and got this one on Prime Day. I love it. The directions were easy to follow. A screwdriver and hex wrenches were included, but a power screwdriver and one particular hex wrench adapter made assembly a dream. I put the desk together myself and only needed my hubby's help to turn it right-side up once I'd attached the base and the desktop. No cussing at all during the assembly. :-) I use a monitor on an adjustable arm and the back shelf handles the monitor arm clamp with no problems. The keyboard tray and back shelf are very handy, and I like the power strip that includes 3 regular electrical plug outlets and 2 USB-A outlets. The desk is spacious and very sturdy at sitting heights. Raising and lowering the desktop is quiet and simple. You can program your favorite heights, so it's a snap to adjust. At standing heights there can be a teeny bit of shaking of the monitor as I type, but keep in mind that my monitor's on a monitor arm with a bit of play in it, so that magnifies any vibrations. I don't even notice the shaking unless I'm trying to pay attention to it as I am now, to write this review. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the U shape, but I've ended up very happy with it. Not only are the extensions not in my way, but they're especially convenient since I prefer to use the keyboard tray. I think this desk might end up being one of my favorite Amazon purchases! ... show more

So far, so good! I'll update in about 6 months if anything changes. Building: I just built this a couple days ago. I built it myself in about 2 hours (I took my time.) The directions were clear and all the pieces were labeled properly. I wasn't missing anything in the box and nothing came broken. Perks of building/things I liked about building it: After building, there were about 1-2 spare screws and wooden dowels leftover, I guess, if you needed a backup. I appreciated the reinforcements on all the desk pieces with metal plates. The screw holes were lined and aligned, which is nice, so you don't accidentally split the wood or warp anything (if you've built a lot of Amazon furniture IKYK why this is an appreciated feature.) Post building/use/specs I like: The desk works as it should and has plenty of space. It could easily fit two curved monitors on the upper portion of you wanted to and 2 laptops on the lower deck with enough extra space to write/eat in the middle because you have the keyboard tray. The lights are a nice touch and have a variety of colors and brightness settings to match the vibes of your space/mood. ... show more

I am loving the desk! I had a regular desk for many years and wanted to get a standing one like I have at work. The price was great. My son and i put it together without trouble. I do suggest you get a 2nd pair of hands to hold things in place while you tighten things up. You can pre-set the heights which is nice. There's an LED light strip that can be installed with. Moving the desk up and down is pretty quiet - actually quieter than mine at the office. It is easy to use and had plenty of space for my 2 monitors, my laptop, my notepads, headset - everything. What really impressed me was getting my issue fixed. It came with some damage to the box which actually had broken the wood on the keyboard tray. I messaged the company and sent pictures. They sent me a replacement right away. I honestly was expecting just the wood piece and still would have to install the slide brackets and it came all put together! All I had to do was slide it in place. I had taken over a month between when I received my desk and when I actually put it together because I was redoing my daughter's room into my office and they were so easy to work with me. Absolutely LOVE this desk. I use it for work and it doesn't take up too much space but holds everything I need. It raises and lowers smoothly and quietly. You can save 3 different heights so it will go to your set height at the touch of a button. Love that it has 3 plugs and 2 USB ports at the back of the desk top and it has hooks to hang headphones on. The shelf hold both of my monitors with room to spare. I may move my laptop up there and work with 3 screens. The undermount light is nice but not enough light for me to do my work. The instructions were clear, and the desk is sturdy. You knocked it out of the park on this one....IMO The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to add a small drawer on the left side. ... show more
