Edit: update. against my better judgement I DID take it on another flight and I am just grateful that it did not completely burst apart. I would have never used this except my family (3 people) was travelling for only 2 nights for my son's college graduation and we didn't need 3 separate suitcases. All it had was 9 changes of clothes and it only weighed 23lbs at check in. The back seam ripped apart and the metal wire around by the zipper was ripped out and bent. I do not recommend this to anyone. ------- I bought this on vacation because I needed a 2nd bag and this one had decent reviews, was relatively inexpensive, and would get there quickly. Unfortunately I only used it one time and the seam on top strap is coming apart. It's not like this was overloaded, it didn't even weigh 30lbs. Although The bag seems sturdy this gives me a lot of concern about it ripping apart in other spots and possibly losing items. The bag looks nice and it is definitely roomy enough. The spinner wheels make it easy to lug around which is good because, again, the strap is coming off. I can't give it any more than 3 stars because I don't feel confident using this to fly again. Maybe taking it on a car trip but that's about it, and I don't really need a big suitcase for that.

I love this suitcase for the size, the expanding feature, extra compartments! But on my 2nd trip using it when I got to the airport, I noticed 1 wheel had started coming apart like old re-cap tires & I had to drag it to baggage check in, then through my hotel & back through the airport again to go home. By the time I got home from dragging it around on vacation, a 2nd wheel was coming apart. It's such a great suitcase & price that I hate to have to tell this story...but it would be a perfect product if they update the wheels!

I had high hopes for this luggage but was left as disappointed as an abandoned pet left on the side of the road. $150 with tax and an average of 4 stars for reviews? Sounded good to me, but I should've listened to the 1 star reviews. Price does not equal quality. Wheel broke on first use from the East Coast to Hawaii, loaded with 46 pounds and with 2 sets of criss crossed heavy duty luggage straps to keep the structural integrity. For comparison, the wife and I have the "IT Debonair" luggage in a similar size, and it has traveled well with us for the past 6 years to the Philippines, Grand Canyon NP, Zion NP, Bryce NP, Sedona, Banff, San Francisco, Aruba, the Maldives, Olympic NP, Mt Rainier, Seattle, and Hawaii. Yep, it made the same trip to Hawaii and they're scuffed and scratched up on the surface like the owner of a feral cat, but it's all superficial as all the wheels still glide effortlessly and the retractable handle works flawlessly. Unlike this garbage. It looks like Evander Hollyfield's ear after Mike Tyson bit off a chunk of it. Save your money and get something durable. Seriously. You might want to roll the dice and take your chances, but you'll end up like me with a broken suitcase, going "I should've listened to those one star reviews."

Having used it extensively, I can provide an honest and thorough review of this product. While it offers several commendable features, there are a few areas that could use improvement. First and foremost, the expandable feature of this luggage is truly impressive. It provides ample space for packing, allowing me to fit in all my essentials and even some extra items. The added flexibility comes in handy, especially when returning with souvenirs and gifts. The zippers are smooth and durable, ensuring that the expansion doesn't compromise the integrity of the luggage. However, it is worth noting that when fully expanded, the luggage becomes bulkier and may exceed the size restrictions of some airlines. The spinner wheels on the Aviron Bay luggage are a game-changer. They glide effortlessly across various surfaces, including smooth airport floors and uneven pavements.
