I thought these were pretty good panels for the price. I bought the largest size 36x48. I primed with primer then sealed with a gloss medium. They are really nice panels, pretty smooth and nice wood. They were not 1000 percent perfect, one had a hard to detect small defect on the surface at the edge. But for the price and my use, they were great.

I purchased two of these wood panels and both of them have totally warped and distorted after applying paint. Neither one is suitable for framing and I don't quite know how to get the warp / twist out of the piece. I am going to try and install some kind of steel frame on the back. I use these style panels for my artwork, but never tried this brand. I will never purchase again. If you value your artwork, then don' use this brand or product. I'm really bummed out as the pieces I made are now really unusable. Not happy about the purchase, the time wasted, and now the wasted artwork on top of it all. Literally & figuratively.

The panels were packaged without any padding and arrived with significant damage to both panels. Unfortunately I needed it the same day and couldn't wait on a re-purchase risking the same damage. Otherwise, they are well built to exact dimensions.

I don't like writing negative reviews but sadly I have ordered the 36 x 48 wooden canvas (set of 2) twice. First set that arrived, one of them was dented and damage around the edges. The second set that arrived, both were damaged with dents on the edges and a couple of splits. Additionally I would not recommended these for any acrylic pour technique (especially Dutch pour technique where you have to saturate the surface with thinner paint mix) as the top layer of this wood board surface starts to peel and bubble in places. This is not a solid wood pine surface.

io really do enjoy their products, but i find the larger formats twist and warp really quickly if exposed to air. I find that sealing them front and back with a primer and paint seems to prevent most huge distortions but one never wants to start a painting on a board that is already twisted. It could be your Mona Lisa and how upset would you be if the frame was warped?

I've used this wood panel for watercolour painting. To my surprise the wood cracked in the middle of the panel basically in a straight line from one end to other when I started to paint. Perhaps the panel is too thin and too sensitive to humidity. I'm quite disappointed, the item is expensive and to say the least my painting is ruined. I"ve already written a feedback but got no response. Once again, I hope US Art Supply will pay attention to quality control of their supplies.

this company has gone down hill!! I have ordered from them for years. Recently I have had at least 6 orders and every panel is warped so bad, I am SO DISAPPOINTED. Do not waste your money or time. the bindings they have on back are not secured well either. I had to wood glue them back on to attempt to try to fix. Shows how cheap they are!
