This watch is fairly easy to set up. The touch screen can be hard for large fingers but works good for little ones. Since it is designed for kids that is ok. I would say the sweet spot for ages on this is about 6-9. Younger than that and they will need help navigating older and they will think this is too little kiddish. Kids are way to grown up too fast now days but it is what it is. This has a ton of features to keep them entertained. And they like to track their health. He tells me how many steps he did and that he is very healthy. LOL. Also the games keep him entertained on car trips. We dont let him have this all the time as screen time is way over used with kids now days. We went from the TV babysitter to watch/phone babysitters. Ok in moderation. But all the research shows it is not really a good thing for kids to have a lot of screen time. This is a decent kids smart watch. It is easy to use and durable. Good "Smart" watch for kids or simple exercise tracking. I personally have an Apple watch SE and love it - its my 3rd apple watch and I am an official junkie. I decided to get my family into a exercise routine and my kids were jealous that I could track all my stuff with my watch. I decided to look into getting them "smart" watched too so they could track their workouts and get motivated to keep going. This watch was easy to set up and very user friendly. They are able to track their steps though out the day and record an workout/exercise session. The games are fun and the graphics pretty good. It has a camera too, low resolution, but still fun. It is a SIMPLE smart watch - way more like a FitBit than the apple watch & if you approach it with that expectation it is really pretty good. My girls like them anyways & they have worked really well for the month we have had them. I gave 4 stars because I think it would be nice if they had their own app that you could have on your phone to control the watch & set the settings. So my 12 year old was asking me for a while for a smartwatch, specifically one that my older teenage son owns. Unfortunately, I don't want to spend to much so when I saw this watch for children I got it. I have to say it is really nice and doesn't look like a chilrens smart watch until you turn it on. It has different themes to use, a camera, voice recorder, and some super cool features like a pedomoter. My 12 year old son is in middle school, and he said, mom this watch is not for me. I totally agree with him, I think this watch should be targeted for like 5- maybe 10 year olds. It's more childish and because of that I gave it to my 10 year old son who was thrilled to have it. He thought the camera and the different filters are fun, and even the one cringe song that comes with the watch. It has touchscreen and my 10 year old was excited to set his alarm for school, so I think it's great like I said for 5-10 year olds and not up to 12. I gave this to my son for his 8th birthday and he was very excited and happy with the gift. The watch worked great right out of the box and we had no trouble customizing it with the watch face he wanted. The watch band is brightly colored, soft and smooth and didn't hurt or irritate his skin. It fit him well. He had lots of fun using the watch to take photos and play games. There is no way that I could find to limit access to the games, so we had make sure that he didn't wear it to school. He really likes the watch, but we do have to limit his access to it because its just another screen he can get hyper-focused on. There is a lot to like about this watch. First the screen is actually pretty nice, the picture does not do it justice. It's bright and crisp. They packed a bunch of games, a voice recorder, music player, flashlight and camera into it. It does all those things...fine. For example, the camera takes pictures, but remind me of cell phone pictures from 10 years ago, the music plays loud and clear, but lacks bass. I think the sweet spot is around 6-8 years old. My 6 year old seems to like this the most. I think the older kids might want something a bit thinner and sleeker as this watch is on the thicker side. Any younger, and they might have issues navigating the menus, features, and might not fully understand light splashing on the watch is ok, but submerged is bad. ... show more

This watch is pretty cool. It looks like an Apple Watch and it’s easy to use. It is a little touch sensitive so if you have bigger fingers, it may skip to a previous screen when setting the time and school settings.
