I thought it was kind of cheesy at first but for me it checks almost all the boxes. It's my go to full face helmet now and I have 4, so that says something. It was very squeeky, the stirophome inards rub against the outer shell and squeek . I poured a bunch of baby powder inside and blew it all over inside of there with an airhose and now it's pretty quiet. The front was plucking chin hairs every so often pretty painful actualy lol. I just pulled out the little fabric chin skirt with my bare hands no tools needed and no more hair plucking since. So now it's pretty awesome. The only thing I don't like is most helmets visors have a stopping point where it clicks in place about a quarter inch up to let a little air in and keep it from fogging up, this helmet doesn't. The first place it clicks into a semi locked position is half way up which is useless because the bottom of the visor is right in your field of vision. But that's a minor gripe. I find if I close it with the knuckle of my thumb in there and then pull my thumb our it stays in that slightly elevated position to let air in. The dark internal visor is great. If you don't have a ton of money I'd say buy it you'll be pretty happy I think. And the bright crazy colors help you to be seen I bought the orange but in hindsight I wished I would have got the green because it's so hyper-visable. HAPPY RIDING! PS: if you're new to helmet wearing, you always need to buy one of those 20 dollar fog guards , it's a clear lens that you stick inside of your existing lense and the air trapped between the two layers keeps it from fogging up. It's an absolute must. Otherwise you close the visor, start breathing, the whole thing fogs up almost instantly, you can't see at all and you wreck your motorcycle......gota buy one. ... show more

5 stars. Buying another one, maybe a size smaller. Wrecked out, flipped the bike. I flew off and smacked my face into the cement road. Tumbled a few times (probably 30-40 feet or more) helmet did its job and even stayed closed, STRONG latch!

Perfect fit. Measured per instructions. I wear glasses, they go on easily after putting the helmet on. Very comfortable. Can see all gauges through bifocals. I've tried 5 helmet brands. One cooled the top of my head better but at the cost of a lot more wind noise (and $200 more cost). THIS ONE IS A KEEPER! THANK YOU TYPHOON! PS: If you want a bluetooth helmet to hear turn instructions, buy bluetooth earbuds and a good (non-bluetooth) helmet from Typhoon. It will save you money and frustration. The earbuds block out the wind noise really well and the turn instructions are clear as a bell. ... show more

Nice full coverage. Love the flip down face shield with hidden lever action sunglasses shield . It beats taking off and putting on glasses over and over. Very very good eye protection which I love as I had 2 cornea transplants last year and I am always afraid of something messing my vision up again.

This was the first helmet I've purchased & I can't speak to its durability in an accident, but I really like this helmet! Love that the front lifts up. It was a huge help in my motorcycle class when it was 80 degrees out & we were just listening to the the instructor. Everyone commented on the cool color & design, so it's eye catching.
