New laptop, need a new mouse - but have nerve and joint pain. Never got the hang of a laptop touchpad. My old favorite mini mouse for the laptop, now too small. A standard size, too big. Tried a vertical one that is supposed to better ergonomically - wasn't. Tried two - the first from Amazon was deadmouse straight from the box, trashed it. The second vertical needed so much effort to keep it flat to work, along with a scroll wheel from hell - off to Goodwill. Lets try a flatmouse again, the Logitech ordered came with dead batteries straight out the box. Then hand heaven, this. Connected straight from the box - and surprise, two USB Bluetooth receivers, both type and and C. They lie under a cover, not just pop outs. Looks exceptionally elegant, simple, no garish logo. Perfect fit for my weary hand, quiet. An added plus, the matte black finish does not fingerprint. It's a lightweight mouse with USB-A and USB-C receivers and charging cables, which makes this incredibly convenient. You are able to charge the mouse at the same time as you're using it. Also, it goes into sleep mode if you leave it turned on, but don't use it for a while. The click is not noiseless as it advertises, but it is a low-dull click instead of the audible snapping click other mice have - it is really quiet though. It works smoothly on my MBP, which is great because a more expensive mouse I purchased moved sluggishly. Upon initial insertion of the receiver, a window popped up saying it couldn't identify my keyboard. I closed it out and the mouse has been working just fine since. All parts of the mouse work, both cables and receivers work, the scroll wheel scrolls smoothly. The scroll wheel is clickable, but if you're using Mac OS it's only good for scrolling regularly on Safari. It functions like a middle-click would if you're using Firefox. I don't lose connection. I've been using this mouse for a week now on the first charge since the day I got it. It hasn't indicated low battery or died on me yet. I use it about 3-6 hours per day. I'll update this review in a few months time if anything changes as I read some reviews saying their mouse stopped working after several months. - 6 MONTH UPDATE - It's still working and looking the same as the day I got it - no issues have come up. Mouse speeds are still smooth, all clicks still work, mouse is recognized immediately after being plugged in, no discoloration or fading in color, and I'm still on the first charge. My review now would be the same as it was 6 months ago. - 1 YEAR UPDATE - This update is mainly to say that the mouse works just as well on the M1 2021 MBP as it did on the Intel 2020 MBP. The mouse still works and looks as good as it did the first day I got it, no complaints whatsoever. It was well worth the $18 I spent on it. ... show more

I would say this product is for nearly anyone. The design is neutral, so both lefties and righties can use it with no problem. I'm a heavy user so I keep it charged every three weeks or so. The mouse is very responsive and smart enough to know when to enter power-saver mode. One click is enough to wake it up. I also really like the responsiveness, and the ability to turn it completely off of needed. And it's so light. All in all a wonderful product to have! ... show more

I do like this mouse a lot and the fact I can connect it to my iPad and computer is very convenient. Only complaint is how big the c type plug is because I have to partially remove my case to plug it in. It works well. Soft. I don’t now how long the battery lasts tho. I needed a mouse that works with a MacBook Air, which only has USB-C plugs. This mouse fit the bill and also includes chargers and transceivers for USB-A in case I ever needed that. It is chargeable so it needs no batteries. The transceivers are stored in a small compartment under the mouse so you don’t lose them. The charging cable plugs into the front of the mouse. Just turn it off when it’s not in use and the charge lasts a long time. I also find it charges quickly if you forget. The mouse is very responsive and seems to have no lag.
