For people with the brass ring stuck inside the screw cap - stick a little piece of duct tape to the ring and spin counter-clockwise. It will unscrew and come out. Other than that annoying circumstance, these are great shelves.

Perfect for my Amazon Echos (2nd Gen)! They’ve been steady for about a week now, no signs of bending or deformation. I’m really happy I found these instead of opting for the plastic options. Install took about 5 minutes total. Instructions on the back of the box. And it doesn’t say, so I’ll save you the time — drill bit for the drywall anchors was 9/64-inches. Definitely put a level on it before making any marks or holes, though. Also make sure to check the decorative caps; the washers of mine got screwed in during shipment.
