A budget grade router if you need one. I am a professional woodworker and bought 2 of these for keeping set up with roundover and chamfer bits. For the money, it's a good value since it came with a cheap bit set. The manual, which most people won't need anyway, is useless as it contains Chinese word salad that is meaningless in English. The collet wrenches are cut out of leftover paper and will bend in use. So plan on using a sturdier wrench from your toolbox to insert bits. Other than that, it turns on, spins the bit in a circle as designed and that's about what you get. ... show more

I am unable to use the router because it is missing the gear to change the height and the thumb screw to lock it in place after. The bits are also poorly constructed, since this router was unable I put the round over bit in my old one. While running down the length of my board the height wheel came off and left and indentation down the side and a gouge in a nice finish piece. Don’t buy ... show more

I love that this router seems all inclusive for beginners like myself. However, the whole thing is held together with a star bolt that comes undone as you progress through a piece. This causes the router to drop in depth which overloads the bit causing kickback. 😳 I've tried using the attachments that also quickly come loose no matter how much you tighten them. If you have a more advanced set up with jigs, extension plates, or modified bases this is a decent buy. If you are starting out with palm routers, I'd 100% suggest you buy a different router as this one is pretty dangerous for a beginner. ... show more
