My daughter just turned 3 in April of 2020, and I couldn’t wait to get a fun kid car for her, as that’s something I wish I could have had when I was little. I also have a 17 month old daughter as well, so I wanted to get something they could both enjoy at the same time. It arrived about a week out from her birthday in late April. I waited till the night before her bday to put it together so she wouldn’t see it till the next morning. After reading the reviews, I watched the YouTube video to get an idea of how the assembly worked and I had my cousin over at the time so I had help putting it together. It wasn’t nearly as bad or hard to put together as a lot of the other reviews suggested. It took us about 45 mins and I’m very glad I had help, the extra set of hands does help, but it isn’t necessary. Really just need to read the instructions, watch the YouTube video and be patient and smart about it and it’s not hard to do. I was so excited to see it light up when we turned it on that night in the driveway to test it out. I drove it around for a bit to drain the battery before plugging the battery into the charger for the night. We rolled it into the house using the little u-bar hitch on the back and had it sitting there in the living room ready for my daughter to see the moment she would wake up and go to the living room area. She was so excited when she saw it! We couldn’t even get her to eat breakfast because all she wanted to do was sit in it and play. So we took it out front and I helped her drive it around the front driveway with the remote. Both my daughters fit in it side by side easily. And they both absolutely love it! They just keep asking to go “again, again, again”..... I was well pleased with house fast it can go, and I like how it has 3 speeds. The controller was eAsy to sync, and it’s easy to use and I love that I can stop the car at any time with the push of one little button. Everything about this little kid car is awesome, and I’m absolutely happy with my purchase. The only thing I was bummed about was the the little KC lights on the roll bar don’t light up as there is not cords for them. Not sure why they’d design it to look like they’re light but don’t actually light up. It that big of a deal though, when you see all the other lights turn on at night, like the wheels and the headlights and windshield light, it really looks freaking awesome! All my neighbor’s kids are jealous!!!

I do not recommend anyone buying this, unless your goal is to waste money. My kids loved the jeep, for the whole year (more like 10 months) that it actually worked. It just stopped running. It was in perfect condition, stored in the garage when it was not being played with. According the customer service, it stopped working due to water damage.... to spend THAT MUCH money, for it to not even work a full year, it's ridiculous! And here is where my real complaint comes in. CUSTOMER SERVICE, the company itself, not Amazon. I hope someone from Moderno Kids reads this. Less than a year, in perfect condition (minus the apparent water damage), and they wouldn't help with a single thing. So I spent another $30 to order what they said I would need for it to work. Surprise, it didn't work. Then they told me I needed to order another $30 piece (both being non-refundable even if the jeep still didn't work). I also need to point out, this process took weeks. I asked to speak with a supervisor, was told a handful of times he would be calling me back. Never did. Supervisor Freddie!!! He refused to speak to me/call me back. He told one of the employees that if I didn't want to buy the second part, to hang up on me. What a joke of a supervisor. Freddie, you are a huge disappointment to your employees and customers. It was Freddie's job to take care of the problem, and he just put it back on his employees. Moderno Kids, please be advised, that is who you have in a supervisor position, someone who tells his employees to hang up on customers. I most likely would have ordered the next piece if he just got on the phone and done his job. I want EVERY parent to know that you should not buy this product. I searched for months for the perfect toy car, paid the expensive price tag, for it to work for LESS THAN A YEAR! I plan on letting every parent/person know to never purchase this product. If I wanted something that was going to last less than a year, I wouldn't have spent almost $500 on it..

This thing is beyond cool. The lighting effects look amazing and the adult remote works perfectly. The adjustable leatherette seats are a nice touch, and the radio/mp3/Bluetooth unit works surprisingly well. BT pairing was done instantly without any trouble. Assembly was relatively easy, although the instructions were not perfect (i.e. it tells you to use the 12mm screws for everything, but doesn't say which length of the included screws you should use for each part) Also, I had to drill holes in the roll bar to fix it to the body because there weren't any. Initially, battery life seems to be adequate, with us getting about 45 minutes on an almost-full charge in 35 degree weather with radio and lights on and carrying about 80 pounds. The kids absolutely love this thing...it's worth every penny.

Required some strength to assemble, directions are often unclear on which screws to use. The plastic part on the back required a bit of additional filing to get the screws in. Altogether took about an hour and a half. Product functions great, remote stops car effectively, although turning against the occupant's wishes doesn't work well (less important than stopping obviously). Car was a hit with kids, 5 year old has no problem driving it around after half an hour. Would recommend for young kids who have a nice place to drive it around.
