I recently purchased the Twinkle Star color changing Fairy Lights and I couldn't be happier with my decision. These lights are absolutely amazing! I've been using them to decorate my bedroom in a mushroom lamp I printed and they have completely elevated the ambiance of the space. Firstly, the color changing feature is hands down my favorite aspect of these lights. The ability to switch between different colors and create various moods and atmospheres is so much fun. Whether I want a calming blue, a vibrant green, or a romantic pink, these lights deliver in every way. The remote control makes it super convenient to switch between colors without having to get up from my bed. The quality of the lights is also top-notch. The build is sturdy and the wires are thin and bendable, making it easy to shape and arrange them according to my preference. I've wrapped them around my bed frame and the result is simply magical. The lights are bright enough to give off a lovely glow, but not too intense that they become overwhelming. It's just the right balance. Setting up the lights was a breeze. The length of the string is perfect for my needs and I appreciate that they provide enough flexibility in terms of placement. Whether I want to drape them across my wall, weave them through my headboard, or decorate my window, the length allows for a lot of creativity. I bought this for the 2025 Christmas, and they have been on since then. The light is not super strong but it is nice for simple decorations. For the price, it has a really good quality. The only thing is that the remote control never worked. But the quality-price, I’m not complaining LoL.

I love these lights. I've purchased 6 strands so far (and yes, will be purchasing more for my many home craft projects). I have 2 large pots on the front porch. Both of them have a copper pipe (cemented) so they can hold artificial Christmas trees. This year, I wanted to have an artificial spring/summer tree stems in the pots with twinkly lights. These lights were absolutely perfect. They're so light, they don't weigh the stems down. Each strand contains 100 lights so, it's easy to cover a lot of area with that size of strand. They're bright or dimmable. You can choose different colors for the seasons or theme and the best part - they plug in so no more battery operated strand that you have to turn on and turn off. They're remote and programmable. I set the timer for the lights to come on at 7:40 pm and they go off at 11:40 pm. When the time changes, I'll change the program. This is by far one of my favorite decorating accessory ever. The functionality covers so many different projects - indoor or porch wreaths, trees, plants, cabinets, shelves and so much more! I included a photo and video of the lights decorating my mantle (which is the project that inspired the front porch pots). I cannot say enough good about these lights!! ... show more

Edit: both the weird squealing and blinking/shaking of lights when on steady setting were solved by switching to a different usb-to-wall plug. I first used a cheaper plug that had two usb outlets on it. Switched to a better single USB port plug (unfortunately, Apple ports that we use for our iPhones), and had no such issues. We have two sets of lights attached to the separate usb plugs but on the same extension cord. One remote works with both light sets, and at first, they cycle through blinking programs at the same pace...after five minutes, one set will be halfway through the light program while the other is just beginning its program cycle. Imagine disco rave on one side of the room, and Tony Bennett on the other. So, still some inconsistency issues with this product. For all the tweaking and inconsistencies, I have to keep my rating at a 3 star, but would give it 3.5 if that were an option. Still not terrible for a quick and cheap light setup, just not great for some uses. Original review: High-frequency noise coming from the USB plug when lights are on, not sure if it’s safe, not sure if it’s normal, but another reviewer mentioned it happened with the lights they received. The lights are ok, typical cheap led glue-spot dots on thin copper wire. Bright-dim feature works, but the lights flicker/shake when “on steady” so you have to find the right brightness setting that doesn’t make the lights shaky looking. There is more or less high-pitched squealing from the usb plug, depending on the light setting and the brightness. Really annoying, and I only turn them on when I won’t be close enough to the plug to hear it. Remote feels flimsy, sometimes pressing a button activates a setting nearby on the pad, so it isn’t very reliable. There is a button on the usb plug so you can still at least turn on and cycle through the settings, but no usb plug brightness control that I found. For a few bucks, these will get us through the season, but trashing them after that. We used them to brighten up our homemade advent calendar, and other than the noise and shaky lights, they’re at least doing that. ... show more
