I purchased this frame because it looked great in the pictures and had good reviews but I was a bit disappointed. The frame looks great from afar, but the material is not great. For the price I paid, I could have purchased a better quality frame at Marshall’s. .

I had low expectations initially but I was very impressed. It is important to note there is not a glass pane but a plexiglass type material in the frame. But it does come with 2 different sizes of mats. 1 is an 8x10 photo mat and then it also came with a collage mat which I wasn’t expecting. The correct side of the mat is white but if you are looking for a side white almost cream you can use the backside for a warmer tone. Bought exact same frame in the same size from Amazon 3 times. One arrived without the mat, so was useless to me. One literally fell apart in my hands as I took it out of the box. One was fine. It’s a cheaply made frame at a cheap price. It can look good…I’m happy about the way it looks with my rooster print. I would not recommend this to anyone with young children in the house. Especially if you plan to hang it on the wall…It’s fragile and I can’t imagine it surviving long at all with kids. ... show more

The frame is much narrower (looking directly at it) and thinner (looking at it from the side) than the picture. It doesn't have the same sculptural details pictured. The back doesn't seem strong enough to keep a picture in. I have seen this frame for fifty cents at resale shops and your grandma's yard sale. I didn't buy it then either. The packaging was 10/10.
