This mattress has surpassed all of my expectations. It arrived promptly and was pretty heavy (grab a friend to help!) but slid out of the box readily and was simple enough to unroll and set up. The letter opener that was included worked well to cut the plastic and it inflated quickly. We let it sit for two days before moving it to our bedroom and it completely inflated. It feels firm (but not too firm!) and well made. We've been sleeping on it for about a week and both my hubby and I love it. I was incredibly hesitant to buy a mattress online but we just didn't have the budget to go to a store and buy a "real" mattress. This is nicer than the Beautyrest I paid 850 for 5 years ago (and started sagging after 1 year). I'm so pleased! There were no smells, it's a fantastic buy, if you're looking for a great mattress at a wonderful price, don't hesitate. :)

I was very skeptical about this mattress based on the price and trying to understand the pocket coil construction, which sounded like an old-style coil mattress. After sleeping on it for four nights now I am stunned. I haven’t slept this well in years. Due to a wreck which fractured four of my vertebrae and caused a spinal cord injury, I’m sleeping in our guest room which had a Sleep Number bed. I was really hatin’ on it and replaced it with this one. With the old mattress I was having neck, back and hip pain, and rarely slept for more than 2 hours at a time. The pain has vanished with this mattress, and I’ve been sleeping up to six hours straight. It has truly been a God send. Even before the wreck I had hip pain and low back pain while sleeping on our $2000 mattress in our master bedroom. Honestly this mattress sleeps much better than the expensive one. It is a firmer mattress than what I typically like, but I think because of the layers of foam on top of the coils it makes it not sleep like a firm mattress. It seems like the firmness keeps my spine straight, which prevents the pain, but the layers on top fill in the curves of my body giving those areas support and giving it a feeling of softness. The mattress came compressed in a long box. There was no odor when we first opened the bag it was sealed in, but as it decompressed there was some. The information that came with it recommended leaving it decompress for three days before putting any bedding on it or sleeping on it. I left the ceiling fan on in the room for those days and by the third day the odor was gone. I was even impressed with the straps on the side of the mattress that sit flush with the side that you can slip your hand into for moving it around. I know everyone has different needs in a mattress, but this one has been a miracle for me.

I’m truly super impressed with this mattress so far. We have a very expensive name-brand hybrid mattress that I cannot stand sleeping on because it makes my back hurt terribly. It is also sinking in after just one year! Not wanting to spend that kind of money again, I decided to give this one a try—and I’m so glad I did! This queen mattress arrived in a box that calls for two people to bring it inside. Installing it is a cinch. Open the box, lay it on the frame, the carefully, using the included tool, slice through the plastic and unroll the mattress. This one expanded quickly, which was a nice surprise. Even better, the strong memory foam smell I was preparing for was barely noticeable. That is a huge plus. We did go ahead and let it air out and expand overnight, although I really think it could have been slept on within a few hours of opening. We have been sleeping on it for almost two weeks now and I am very happy with it! As for comfort, it’s been excellent so far. This mattress provides great pressure relief, stays cool (a big deal for me since I sleep hot), and minimizes motion transfer, so we don’t disturb each other when turning over. Best of all, I’m finally getting a good night’s sleep and waking up without pain. One minor suggestion would be to add a bit more support to the edges, as they do give slightly more than I’m used to when getting out of bed. That said, it’s not a major issue, and the built-in side handles make it easy to move if needed. My husband and I are both a bit overweight, and it supports us both beautifully without any problems. Of course, in my experience, it can take up to six months to really determine how well a mattress holds up, but right now, I’m incredibly happy with this one. I’ll definitely update my review if it starts to sink or lose its comfort, but so far, this has been a fantastic and affordable choice!
