I bought this product to use for my 16 hours long overseas flight. After a brief research, I found this product to work well with Apple AirPods Pro, and my experience with it agrees. Pros: - It paired with AirPods Pro quickly. - It stayed connected throughout my flight with some small hiccups but restarting it solved the problem. - The battery stayed charged throughout the flight. - It's a light and pocketable device that comes with a small pouch. - It seems to be sturdy as I dropped it a few times, and it still works without any issues. Cons: - It is expensive compared to the competitors. - Using it with the PC, when the speaker sound is quiet or silent, it tends to shut itself off, but it turns back on again within a second. It's kind of annoying, but I got used to it. - It transmits a decent quality sound, but don't expect an audiophile quality sound. - When I put my AirPods in the case to charge for 10 minutes, then put it back in my ear again, it couldn't connect right away. Bought these in July 2023 because we like to travel a lot and don’t like being “wired” to the airplane video monitors. Easy to set up and they work flawlessly. No more wires to get tangled or to unplug when you go to the bathroom. BTW…great range as I have literally gone to the airplane bathroom while still listening to whatever I was watching. Wife has the Airfly duo SE and I have the Airfly Pro. Pro allows two headphones to be connected and also has an aux in (haven’t used either one). Highly recommended. ... show more

    • Works well, good battery life
Overall this device works well. I have had it for a week now, I charged it up completely then started using it with my regular use case - listening to a pocket radio when I walk my dog in the morning. I paired it up with my Galaxy Buds+ and the pairing was easy. Worked the first time I tried. Have now used it for 5 days straight on a fully charged unit - 2-3 hours per day. Still on the single charge. Every morning I put in my earbuds in, turn on the device, then turn on the radio. The Buds+ connect every time, and by the time I turn on the radio everything is working properly and I am listening to my favorite morning show. Have not tried pairing a second set of earbuds but likely will this weekend. Range is adequate (since I keep it in my pocket). Stays connected when I go across the house about half way, then it starts to get a little "warbly", but that is to be expected. I will try it on a plane in a couple of weeks and if there are any issues I will update but I suspect that for listening to the movies audio and music will work well. Concerns - The connection of the device at the base of the unit and also the the plug, the unit is a bit wobbly and I wonder how long before the connection is broken. Easy to forget on a plane, I have left a Kindle Paperwhite in the seat pocket on a trip, I can see me leaving this plugged in to the seat back when deplaning.     • THIS fixed my problem! - UPDATE!
I use Aftershokz headphones, which I love! The only problem is that they can only link to two separate devices, and between my laptop, iPad, Phone and TV, that's not enough. I have tried other transmitters, but none as flexible as this - Very easy to set up, and it is working like a charm. So, until Aftershokz comes up with 4-device support, this is my go-to. Thanks! 4/14/24 - I have purchased two of these now (One, I apparently donated to some stranger someplace while on a trip). I had a warranty issue with my second one - an issue with the power switch. Twelve South did not hesitate to communicate promptly when I reached out, and they replaced the unit - just like I'd expect a high quality manufacturer to do. I've had the Twelve South AirFly Duo Bluetooth Transmitter for several years and it's still going strong. I don't like sitting on cramped planes, tangled up in wires during long haul flights. This adapter easily connects to my wireless earbuds for a seamless, wireless inflight experience. I haven't experienced any lag in audio. I've found the AirFly to be easy to connect to and it does exactly what it's supposed to do - transmit sound to my bluetooth earbuds. I've used it for a couple hours daily for a few months and it works great. However, after a couple months, the on/off switch stopped functioning, making it impossible to turn off. I contacted Twelve South and, with just a couple simple steps, they quickly sent out a replacement unit. Great customer service. ... show more
