In all fairness, that's probably to much to ask or expect. 1st part, explained streaming & 3 ways to access. ...good! Next, the various services available. Here, things started to get a little cloudier, as example; '…no ads - except if/when...'. My biggest Question (that surely showcases my total lack of anything technical) is: HOW do I fulfill the main requirement for hi-speed dsl? Do any of the streaming services provide them? ...or, do I need - as I suspect, a 'different' service?? ..&, which is best, where to look & how to determine which one?? ... show more

This book is a good short read It is to the point and no fluff. mr.Eldridge has a nack for making complex info readily easy to grasp. Even though this information is a few years old it is still pertinent in 2023. I had an antenna a few years ago and will now get another to go with my Fire tv. I am saving approximately $112 a month from using direct tv or cable. This book is a no-brainer if you are interested in cutting monthly expenditures. ... show more

If your cable TV bill is near or over $125 each month, this book will show you how to save a lot of money. You will have to keep your high speed internet connection, but that's about all. The book is for beginners or pros and is well written and very easy for all levels to understand. Several very helpful links are included. I will recommend to my friends. ... show more

Cable cutters learn about 'over the air TV' very quickly and the book does not expand much beyond some antenna choices. The book has many good suggestions on how to get a large variety of programming over WiFi, both fee and free. The BIG PROBLEM is the most important necessity to get all and any of these is a low cost WiFi providers where the pickings are very slim and definitely makes the book NOT a complete guide. ... show more

When I saw the 2015 Edition on the back cover, I started to walk straight over to the trash can. Then, I thought, "I'll Return it." 7-year-old data in today's rapid changes in technology.
