At first I loved this mask, great field of view, quality lens, not the softest silicone but supple enough with a low frame design that makes for a very comfortable fit. My odyssey with dealing with Tusa customer service began with a question I had about the included anti-fog film. I found the instructions confusing as although there were instructions on how to install the film, there were no instructions on whether the mask needed removing of the invisible layer of silicone with toothpaste that is a byproduct of off-gassing. I emailed Tusa several times to inquire as to whether it was necessary to remove this film or not, a simple question to which I never received an answer. Actually, I did receive a grammatically incoherent response from Jojit F.: "No need to remove the silicone film is by using toothpaste." Frustrated, my third email to Tusa to clarify this was met with silence. I was willing to let this go and just assume it needed the toothpaste treatment as my LDS confirmed. My frustration with Tusa hit a tipping point when I attempted to replace the mask strap. I wanted to install a fourth element ski-goggle style that is more comfortable than the usual silicone. To my surprise, the strap could not connect at all due to Tusa's unique buckle design. Again, I was willing to let this go and keep the mask as it is. Unfortunately I discovered the hard way that once a strap is off the buckle it's impossible to reattach. I watched the video Tusa posted about changing the intega mask strap about a dozen times and although the design seems to be the same it apparently is not, as I cannot see how I can remove the buckle (necessary to rethread the strap) without breaking the mask. This time I elected to call Tusa, and what a surprise, it's impossible to get anyone on the phone! I tried both numbers which just lead to an automated message instructing you to dial an extension number or leave a message with the operator that then promptly hangs up on you after telling you the mailbox is full. I now have a mask that is attached on one side with no hope of reattaching the other side. I'm about done with this mask and its insanely stupid buckle design. This mask will only last as long as the strap; for a mask that costs almost $200, this is kind of inexcusable and downright dishonest to say it comes with a 3 - year warranty and then provide non-existent customer support. ... show more
