After receiving the mask I used the toothpaste trick on the inside to remove any remaining protective layer from the mask that may cause any issues fogging. Before the dive I gave it a good spit rub and rinse prior to putting it on and had no issues with fog. I did not experience any leaks from the mask and the large skirt was comfortable. I flooded the mask to see what clearing it was like and had no issue. Remember though, if you're diving with a hood/cold water, don't forget to pull the hood over the mask skirt so the skirt seal is against your skin and under the hood or the mask will leak. The large skirt with this mask makes that a little more troublesome a mask with a smaller skirt but if you're trained in cold water you'll be familiar with this issue. All in all, for me it performed well and I have no complaints or regrets with my purchase. I'm sure it'll last many years. Just remember to take care of your equipment. Very nice fit which seems to mold to your face. Low profile with great visibility, although the internal volume is still pretty big so clearing it under water takes a bit more effort.

I didn’t want to take my expensive mask on our vacation, as we planned to dive and lots of snorkeling, so I bought 2 of these for my wife and I. My wife is very particular and she loved her mask, especially the way it fit! Quick scrub and no fog on her mask nor mine once cleaned properly! The snorkels as well, I LOVE MY SNORKEL, I like to dive down while snorkeling, the set up is better than my good in my opinion! 5 stars! ... show more

I love this mask. Totally worth it. I didn't find it fogging up much at all (obviously do the spit/ toothpaste part) which is usually a big problem of mine so I give it a win just on that alone. I found visibility was great too in that sometimes I feel certain masks give me tunnel vision. Not this one. I've have nothing but good experiences with the mask so I of course highly recommend. Also, was nervous about fit since that too makes a huge difference. I'd say I have a medium sized female face and was worried about water getting in. No way. This thing was "solid". I think it would fit a guy's face too. Seems very adaptable and the mask skirt is very comfy/ flexible which is why I think it could fit different faces fairly well. Five stars! ... show more

Fits really well, I love the super soft surround, always stay dry. I had a freedom series mask with clear surround but found it to have reflections on the inside, especially near the surface. The black surround fixes that, I save the clear one for night dives. Update: Reduced review to 4 stars. After a few dozen dives I've started to have issues with the strap attachment points coming off the mask. They are held on by two very small plastic nubs tensioned between small clips, and they don't hold if the strap gets pulled hard. Once they get pulled out one time, the plastic nubs get worn a bit and it starts happening much easier. I now have to be very careful stretching the strap over my head, and can't wear the mask on the back of my head as the strap is slightly tighter and the clips tend to pop out. Once it's in place it still works great and is my favorite mask. ... show more
