Only works on xbox wired and seems to have lag with the xbox but works perfectly on my PC and with my phone or any other bluetooth device. Taking off a star because too many buttons and bit of lag with console.

This worked out of the box great. It did however break and fall apart in the first week. The company was willing to refund the cost and easy to work with. I decided not to go for a refund however because I could not establish if it was product failure or operator failure. Due to that fact I felt that the supplier shipped me the correct product and it worked at first and then they were willing to refund me so I give the supplier a strong 5 but I simply can't rate the controller either way. ... show more

    • Triggers are too squishy. Died after 45 days.

It takes about 1/8th of a pull to activate a trigger, so no hair-trigger. Plus the buttons feel squishy. The two programmable buttons and four profiles are nice, but if you use the aim assist feature, you can't really use the right programmable button as it will trigger both the assist and whatever is mapped to it. Also, on PC the audio mixing can't be adjusted. Not sure if I'll keep it or not - I don't like the trigger pulls at all. It is well made and feels hefty and is a good bang for the buck. Edit: It died 45 days after purchase - I decided to keep it. Big mistake. Have to go through a warranty return, so weeks without a controller and $15 shipping to the company. Total garbage. I used it maybe two hours a day, do under 100 hours lifespan? ... show more

Bought this with the intention of using it as a wireless XBOX controller on PC. I realize that the main description says "wired game controller with Bluetooth" but what does that even mean? Is it wireless or not? So I read everything more closely and the only caveat they mention for PC is that it needs Bluetooth 4.2 and above to connect. So I purchase it and sure enough, it does connect to my PC via Bluetooth. Imagine my confusion when none of the buttons responded in my games properly. That's because in Bluetooth mode on PC, this is not an XBOX / XINPUT compatible controller. The button layout is totally different and the triggers are no longer analog. This is never explicitly said anywhere on Amazon. It's only explicitly said when you deep dive into Turtle Beach setup guides online. Why is this? In wired mode, this is a normal XBOX controller. And in Bluetooth mode connecting to an Android phone, the button layout, including analog triggers, is the expected XBOX layout (no rumble however). In the setup guide, Turtle Beach recommends using controller remapping programs to fix this. But these programs can't simulate analog triggers. And why should I have to use such software in the first place when this is obviously a software choice on their part? My guess is that they don't want it to compete with their much more expensive Stealth controller. And if you only want a wired controller, there's the cheaper Recon (not Recon Cloud) controller. Despite all this, I'm keeping the controller because it's otherwise a great controller. What it does do, I can use. The phone clip makes it nice to use for cloud gaming. The included USB cable is long enough for wired PC gaming. The extra buttons are easy to program and comfortable to use. I haven't had to use the audio functions but they seem useful. So again, in its current state and at it's price, this is not a good wireless controller for PC. It can technically be used that way but it requires extra work. Hopefully, in the future, Turtle Beach will alter their product description to make that more clear. Otherwise, this is a good controller. BUT BUYER BEWARE! Thanks and God bless! ... show more

This is a great controller; it's strong and programmable. Responsive and comfortable. Be warned, though, it does come prepackaged with Norton for Games. It will install immediately upon connecting to a PC - no questions, no options. Fair warning.

I got this controller primarily to connect to my Samsung phone and tablet to play games like Red dead and fortnite. It connects to both of them via blue tooth easily. The controller feels great in the hands. The main reason I got this was for the mappable buttons on the back. They feel great and are well placed. There are many other settings on the controller that I have yet to test. It will connect to PC via USB no problem, and I have found myself using this controller more on my PC than my elite series 2 controller.
