A big upgrade over a headset slightly cheaper that sounds and works great. Much lighter and more comfortable than other head sets I have used similarly priced. I had an issue so I contacted support and I had a replacement set in mailbox less than a week after contact. This headset is great. Good sound, solid mic, sometimes a bit uncomfortable around the ears with extended (2 hours plus) wearing, and the cord is short - approximately 3 feet. You will need a splitter to use as both mic and headset for pc. Overall, well worth it.

The audio is great. The headphone jack is a bit fragile, can easily break when you pull it out. If you are careful, you will be fine. It worked great for a few months, but then it started to echo sometimes. Overall, it is well worth the price. It works fine for a long enough time. Since I've always bought cordless gaming headsets, I didn't see a need for this kind, until dealing with a popular FPS game, that continued to have audio problems with a specific model of a headset from this same company. Knowing the quality of Turtle Beach, allowed me to purchase this one. Personally for me having to wear glasses, I am happy with the comfortable ear muffs. Sometimes playing long game times, these allow comfortable game play. It doesn't squeeze against my head. Decent quality sound, a good mic that allows you to easily flip it on and off, long enough cord to connect to your controller and an easy to use volume control too. Only drawback compared to higher level units, is having only one sound control, you cannot separate gaming sounds from voice sounds.     • The audio gets distorted with heavy gameplay
I really wanted to love this headset. At first the audio was so clear and all around great. But after using it for 2 weeks, I'm no longer thrilled. Its fine with most games. But when playing a game like warframe or COD where there is a lot of audio and gunfire ECT, the audio starts skipping heavily. This is the only time the skipping happens. I can watch Netflix and play some games without issue. But if I'm in a heavy mission with a lot of noise, its rough. And I silenced half of the in game noise already so, thats very disappointing. I dont know if I just ended up getting a defective unit or if its just a bad quality headset. ... show more
