I'm sorry I purchased this expensive soap based on reviews. After 2nd use it caused a big nodule on my right cheek that I haven't been able to completely get rid of. It's been over 2 weeks now. It's way too drying also. Everyone has different skin but it caused acne for me instead of helping. Will not purchase again! Glad for you that love it, but I don't like it at all for it not do what it was supposed to do at all! After waiting 3 weeks for that nodule to go away, I gave this soap another chance. I'm glad I did. While still drying, I moisturized to combat that. My skin looks really good. Dark spots pretty much gone, more even-toned face. ... show more

I am using this product to fix hyperpigmentation on my face, neck and armpits (if I remember to do them). I wash my face twice a day. I use a silicone face scrubber to scrub away dirt and oil. I notice changes around the third day. My facial routine is wet face, apply soap, scrub for 30 seconds, let it sit for 10 seconds, rinse, apply/scrub in organic toner, let it air dry until damp, and follow up with grapeseed oil as a moisturizer. This soap pulls the oil and the oil my face produces with every wash. It can be drying if overdone. For my neck, I wash it with ivory soap. Then follow up with the turmeric soap. For my armpits, I wash it with ivory soap, then follow up with turmeric soap before bed. ... show more

I have been adding more Turmeric to my diet for its many health benefits recently, so I decided to research the benefits of turmeric on the skin and decided to give this soap a try. I have seen a dramatic difference in my acne scars and if new skin problems arise, they are controlled much more quickly than in previous products I have used. The scent is spicy and natural, I like it. I do not find it drying at all, I use castille soap all the time so I am used to it and I find it much more gentle than convetional soap. I usually don't write reviews but I wanted to with this soap. I have bad itching eczema and nothing has helped. I have tried everything from dermatologist shots, products, etc you name I have tried it. I used this bar twice ( no exaggeration) the itching and eczema DISAPPEARED!!! I have now ordered my 3rd bar. Bar's don't last long after several showers of use. So, I have decided just to use it for shampooing itching hair scalp. This is a good bar just wish it was cheaper. I have been switching to natural products that address oily skin and acne scars. This soap is perfect for that! I haven't had an acne breakout, and I can see where my old acne scars are lessening. It lathers so beautifully too. It's meant to soak up oils, so my face is rightfully dry after using it. To be clear, my skin is soft and isn't flaking after use, but it is dried of oils. I use a combo of aloe vera, rosehip oil, and vitamin e as a moisturizer, and this soap cleans it all off which is something I'd been struggling with when using other cleansers.
