  • Great kit
My truck went down and this kit was delivered quick fast and in a hurry. And honestly rebuilding and installing the kit was super easy the worst part was just getting the turbo out of the truck

  • Awesome kit
Kit worked awesome truck hasn't ran so good in a long time. Saved so much money than buying a new turbo. Never rebuilt a turbo before and it took longer to clean the old part than to rebuild the turbo. Will never buy a new turbo again.

  • Great kit, missing exhaust manifold gasket
I was able to use about 90 percent of the kit. Everything seemed to fit perfect. The only thing that was missing was the exhaust manifold gasket, which was purchased for $10 from my local Ford parts store. There was also one very large gasket (pic), one gasket that looked like it could be the manifold gasket but it was a little too big and one little nut (pic) that could only be for the impeller shaft but didn't fit. I also posted a pic of the gasket and part number that had to be purchased from Ford. My truck is a 99 but it was built in late 98 so that could have had something to do with not having the needed gasket and the 2 extra gaskets and extra nut. After installing the turbo everything works perfectly. I did notice a little screech noise at first that worried me but I think that was just from the turbo not having oil on the initial start up, everything seems find now. Overall a good product for a good price. There were a few sets for cheaper but sometimes it's better to pay a bit more and receive a higher quality product. Hopefully this one was a higher quality than the ones for $39. ... show more

  • 1999 Ford F250 7.3L
Pulled the turbo out and installed this upgraded kit along with a new wicked wheel turbo wheel. Improved power and sound and nearly no turbo lag.

  • Not right!
Parts are not correct. I have the stock turbo which matches the part number in description however the brass bearings are a fraction too small and the spacer is slightly smaller. I had to use original spacer and brass bearings or my wheel would have excessive play. I used 360 bearing and gaskets everything else is junk. Look elsewhere if u want a usable rebuild kit. ... show more

  • Caution must know turbo model number!
This kit fits a lot of 7.3 model years so I ordered it assuming the turbos were all the same. Not! You need to know your turbo model number which is on the backplate. My model number is Garrett 1831383C93. The journal bushings that come with this kit are too large (about 1.5mm). I was unable to find a kit for my turbo model so I ended up using the old bushings since they looked good. I probably could have ordered the bushings by themselves but was growing impatient. All the other parts seemed to fit although there is an extra o-ring post assembly. Did I miss something? Perhaps this is teardown number 1 of ? ... show more
