I liked this mat at first. Some water does drain off, but some remains. It’s large enough for my largish dish rack. The dark grey color looks fine. But now that time has passed, I am disappointed in two things. One is the water that gets under the mat and leaves hard water marks on our stainless steel sink. The other is the marks that have accumulated on the mat itself (hard water stains and dirt marks). I've scrubbed the mat but it doesn’t get completely clean. If I knew this when I planned to purchase the mat, I wouldn't have bought it.

Good concept, bad design, REALLY bad design. This drain dryer mat doesn't drain or dry. There is NO slant to this mat, so water just pools and then thanks to water tension it takes forever to dry. the edges aren't any higher than the inner ribs, so stuff can easily roll off the mat. You basically have to buy or improvise an actual slanted dish drainer to put under this to get it to work. It might make a good trivet for hot pans.

Great concept except it needs to be thicker on the end so water actually DOES drain to the slit opening. As it is, water just get accumulated under the in the groves and is air dried. Maybe the maker can design one?
