This has been a fun and a little challenging to finish. The numbers were hard to see in some spot where the flowers are clumped together. I have done different paint by numbers for some years now and this one has been the hardest one I’ve done. I also still think anyone can do this painting with good light and the paper that comes with it that’s in black and white. Also just because I had a hard time seeing the number on the canvas doesn’t mean I wasn’t able to put the right color in its spots. I just used the print out lol. I had more than enough paint except for the white and tan white colors. Towards the end of the painting I was able to go back over some spots that I have missed or just needed more color. I’m am not done but I’m glad I’ve picked this one because I wanted something more challenging art design that will be bright and beautiful once I’m done.     • So Many Issues
I've been doing lots of paint by numbers recently. I've had good kits and poor kits. This has been the worst I've done. I wanted to paint this as a gift for someone. I had such high hopes, but it was one problem after another. -I couldn't steam out all the wrinkles from the canvas. Tried several times. -Paint was low coverage, everything took several layers and I ran out of a couple paints. I save unused paint from other projects so I got by using that. -Painting is high detail in some areas and super low detail in others. The sky, the island, the rocks at the bottom were super simplified to the point of not looking good. I had to freestyle those areas and do a lot of layering and blending to make it look right. In the end it came out nice enough to gift but it was such a headache to paint. If you are willing to go through all that to have this painting, go for it. Otherwise my advise is don't buy it. ... show more

Purchased it for my mom and it turned out beautiful! We’ve done some paint by number art before, and it was a bit difficult to see the borders and numbers because of the red ink, typically it’s black. Additionally, we run very short on light beige color, i think there should be an additional jar for that color since there is a lot of it in the picture. Otherwise, fun, calming activity and you are left with a pretty artwork at the end. ... show more

I wanted to love this. But it's unrealistic in my opinion. The coloring areas are so incredibly small it's really hard to paint. I had to buy markers but it's not transferring well. I wish I could returned but I already colored some areas. I wouldn't recommend this one.
