I got this set for my husband for his birthday but it's become something the whole family (esp kids 7 and 9) can enjoy (our 5-year-old mostly watches others build). It is SO FUN! It's amazing to see this intricate and impressive building come to live. The details are exquisite--have you seen a LEGO toilet before? I sure hadn't, but there's one in here--and it's so cute! This LEGO Tudor building set is truly something special! It’s an impressive and unique offering that I can see immediately captivating both architecture buffs and history lovers. Beautiful set. Wish I could finish it. I was able cobble together a part of it with pieces I have But too many missing pieces make it impossible to put together and too late to return what a waste of 300$. I'm actually angry about this. UPDATE there are also so many misprint in the instructions I feel I some how ended up with some ass set than an actual Lego product. I.AM PISSED ABOUT THIS. I do not have an extra 300$ very often to spend on myself and I have found this kit very disappointing. And a scam ... show more

This Lego set is absolutely iconic. From the moment I saw the box, I knew it was going to be spectacular. Putting it together does take some patience and focus which is great when you want a project that you can really get absorbed by. The overall design is lovely and I appreciate all the little details they put into each room. It really is stunning. I did use some Lego adhesive to hold the pieces together for each "story" of the house but left the stories separated so they could be shown off and even played with. Comes well packaged. It is LEGO! Each piece and instruction has a clear purpose and intent. Very easy to assemble, although these are not the LEGO of my childhood. Highly recommend and this is definitely a build for "grown ups." Great gift idea for your LEGO fan in your life.
