Its pretty good. the only gripe is the fact it does not pulse on red lights, just keeps it steady. The pulsing function is for alternating light colors so it is a bit overstimulating at night. Red, on other hand produces melatonin. I wish red light also pulsed.

This things is great overall. I love the soft music and the lights are perfect for distracting baby. BUT 3 stars bc buyer beware when the batteries get low it has the potential to scare the crap out of your little one. In the wee hours of the night. ours did this strange demonic laugh as it was dying. Very odd and random but it definitely scared our baby …and us.
