  • It pains me to say anything bad about Tula, but….
I have a lot of Tula products and love them all, have been a fan for a while now! So I was excited to try out this TULA Skin Care Rose Glow + Get It Lip Balm. The good first: 1. It’s Tula. So, there’s that haha! 2. It has Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin E in it, which help hydrate and provide antioxidant protection. 3. It also has a super six blend of probiotics and probiotic extracts to help improve skin smoothness and maintain skin balance. Now for the few “bad” things that aren’t AWFUL, but made me have to deduct a star: 1. The tube is TINY! For the price (18 at time of review), it won’t last very long. Especially if you constantly reapply lip gloss through the day. 2. It actually burns my lips a little? I’m not sure why? I’ve never had this issue with Tula lip products before, but this one burns a little bit! Not horribly but enough for me to mention. 3. There is added fragrance to it, which smells nice to me. But you can taste it. And the taste isn’t pleasant. They definitely could have done without the added fragrance for sure!! I’m going to stick to my Tula SOS lip balm and most likely will not be ordering this again. But I STILL AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU TULA!! ... show more

  • Lots of ingredients, bright lip balm
This is nice to use as almost skin care, around the house, alone, since it's so bright on me. It does not have lavender listed, but does have fragrance, which scared me, but I haven't had issues yet. I've also been very cautious with testing a tiny amount because of that though. I had to really scan through the ingredients since there are so many, but everything looks fine to me, as far as my sensitivities. Ingredients as listed are Dipentaerythrityl Tetrahydroxystearate/Tetraisostearate, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Phytosteryl/Isostearyl/Cetyl/Stearyl/Behenyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Bis-Behenyl/Isostearyl/Phytosteryl Dimer Dilinoleyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Polyglyceryl-2 Isostearate/Dimer Dilinoleate Copolymer, Squalane, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Tocopherol, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Tocopheryl Acetate, Lactobacillus Ferment, Lactobacillus, Lactococcus Ferment Lysate, Lactic Acid, Beta Vulgaris (Beet) Root Extract, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Polymnia Sonchifolia Root Juice, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Sorbitan Oleate, Tribehenin, Punica Granatum Flower Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Acacia Decurrens Flower Wax, Butylene Glycol, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polyglycerin-3, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Inulin, Jojoba Esters, Maltodextrin, Octyldodecanol, Sodium Chloride, Sambucus Nigra Fruit Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, May Contain: Yellow 5 Lake (Ci 19140), Red 21 Lake (Ci 45380), Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Red 28 Lake (Ci 45410). ... show more

  • Comparable to Other Balms
Lip balms seem to be the newest craze amongst the younger generation especially with brands like Laneige, Summer Fridays, etc. i’d say that this lip balm is very comparable however it is on the smaller side compared to those other brands. It has a very subtle pink tone with a slight gloss. It is very moisturizing on my lips and doesn’t cause it to dry out. It is very long lasting and overall very easy to just slip into your purse for on the go convenience. ... show more

  • Moisturizing and glossy but contains fragrance and dyes
I like Tula as a brand and use their facial wash, so I was excited to try their lip treatment. The first thing I noticed was the fact that it’s tinted pink and has a slight rose scent/taste to it. It feels really nice on my lips and is instantly moisturizing. A quick glance at the ingredients list shows a lot of really good, natural skincare ingredients however it also shows that it contains synthetic fragrance and dyes which I find confusing. Is it makeup or is it skincare? And if it’s the latter, why the need to add fragrance and dyes? My guess is they are trying to market this as a combination skincare and makeup— the only thing is that it doesn’t work particularly effectively as a gloss. It doesn’t read that pink and is glossy and has a nice sheen but not so radically different from other lip treatments that don’t have added dyes or perfume. I guess if you like the slightly pink sheen and stickier glossy feel but also like your gloss to have nourishing ingredients, then this will be your jam. But if you are just looking for a straight up lip treatment, I would look elsewhere. If this had not included fragrance and dyes, it would be a 5 star product for me. ... show more

  • loving this!
i really love tula and i don't think its possible for them to put out a bad product. i've never tried any balms before so i grabbed two of them, and i've really been loving both of them! i love the way my lips feel while i have this on, but my lips feel really great when it comes off too. i really feel that this is giving my lips the added hydration that they need. ... show more

  • Clean & very Pink
I'd heard of Tula before and knew they were a clean beauty brand so I jumped at the chance to try this. I try to only use clean beauty products, since our world (and bodies) are so full of toxins already! This lip gloss is sticky. I would definitely consider it more a gloss than a balm. And it has a pink stain to it. The first day I used it, I put it to my lip lines and I bled out and made me look like a clown. I've learned since to keep it slightly inside and apply sparingly because it is a bright pink and too much makes my lips look chapped. ... show more

  • Not what I expected
Given the "lip treatment" designation, I imagined this to be more of an oil or balm that I could leave on overnight. Instead, it's a sticky/tacky lip gloss, and not my favorite.
