Ordered this to mount and dismount tire on lawnmowers and there is no way to get the wheels on this machine. I also looked for a accessory to modify., none could I find so back to Amazon it goes. Ad was very misleading. Very disappointed in this item.

You definitely need to bolt to ground I changed over 30 tires so far works very well once bolted to concrete

Straight out of the box the quality of this tool is pretty poor. I could wield this better and I'm a pretty terrible wielder. Parts don't line up correctly, I had to assemble it with a hammer. There's actual holes in the wields, drips and missed spots in the paint. Base plate is warped, I can only assume it was overheated. Putting all that aside, it DOES change tires. I was able to do a full set (5 wheels) using this tool. There's a definite learning curve and your upper body will hate you by the end of it. The average Joe need not apply here, this thing is for the MacGyver's, general handymen and Jack of all trades. You'll need a good mechanical aptitude as there are no instructions...not assembly nor use. Also, own a wielder...I snapped the bead breaker on tire #3 and had to burn it back on. If you listen to no other recommendations I have, heed this one: bolt it down to concrete or some other immovable object. You can't use if it moves even a little bit. ... show more

You gotta mod these with a duckmount to take advantage of them. Easily done and I can mount tires at home.
