I bought this harness mainly because the rental harnesses at my local rock climbing gym were pretty uncomfortable, and this has been a huge upgrade. The harness is much more comfortable to wear, especially during longer climbing sessions. It fits well, and the adjustable sizing makes it easy to get a secure fit without feeling too tight. Another big advantage is the price. It was about $20 cheaper than many of the other harnesses I looked at, but it still feels well made and reliable. The materials and overall build quality are solid, and after using it regularly, I have no complaints about its construction. As for appearance, there is only so much you can ask from a climbing harness. At the end of the day, it's meant to keep you safe and comfortable, not necessarily make you look good, and this one does exactly that. Overall, this has been a great purchase for gym climbing. If you're tired of using uncomfortable rental gear and want something affordable, adjustable, and comfortable, I would definitely recommend this harness.

Comfortable fit and ample hookups. Versatile for a climbing harness. Adjusting can be cumbersome but it locks in great and stays put! Excellent value and not too heavy for all day use. Stitching and durability are good as well.

I bought this harness a few years ago for rappelling and have used it dozens of times since then. After spending many full days wearing this and hanging off of cliffs in it, I have no complaints whatsoever with this product. I could complain that it's heavy, but it's not that bad and is likely a side effect of being both well-built and inexpensive. I use the side tie in points and appreciate having them. I'm only replacing because of small signs of wear on the main metal clip, which i see as normal for the amount of use it's gotten. I'm 6'1" 180lbs and this fits me fine with plenty of room to spare either direction. Concerning complaints i read about the straps being difficult, they're not supposed to move easily, but they go right into place and stay there for me every time after a few minutes of fussing with them. This harness does not have all the features of the SOB but at 6ft 230lbs and a 36'' waist this one fits well and is comfortable. While I am not a fan of the adjustable buckles because they are hard to adjust, they don't come loose, ever. the waist belt buckles have chafed a bit over the past year but it has held up great and I will son replace it, the gear loops are OK I made my own attachment points but you have to know what you are doing when modifying gear like this. I would, and may even buy this again, but I'm going to get a truly rated and tested devise that may last for 5 to 10 years.

I have a very steep roof and I used this to do repairs. It worked wonderfully. The price for quality is perfect. The fit was perfect. It seems very well made. And it cannot be any easier to use.

This climbing harness punches far above its weight. It is very high quality in nearly every regard with wide webbing, metal loops, and strong latches. I can't believe it can be sold for the price. Its apparent construction is superior to name brand pieces of gear I've looked at. It fits me well, so it should fit with a few adjustments most folks with normal weight and dimensions. It has many attachment points which is very nice as it gives you a few options in how you hook in. And they are metal which gives me a higher confidence than purely fabric attachment loops. Obviously a piece of gear cannot be totally vetted just by putting it on and looking at it. But to the extent that gives insight it signifies excellent apparent build quality. The harness should be an excellent piece of gear and pleasantly surprised me.

I purchased this. For tree climbing. I’m 57 185. I have a bit of a beer belly. Small but there. The front design underload pushes against my stomach and pinches it. So it is Very uncomfortable to wear more than about five minutes and underload. I can hardly stand it. I’ve returned it due to this problem. The fasteners being difficult and the adjustments being difficult. That doesn’t bother me. It’s Comfort which is my goal. It’s well-made and probably will be fine for many.
