I got this machine as an incentive for my son to save money. He loves candy, so I figured he does a chore and I give him a dime for the machine. For starters, you need to buy your own 'D' batteries for the machine. Don't plan to play it at night when people are trying to sleep because this thing is LOUD. Annoying loud, not cute loud lol. I went to Dollar Tree and got some Air Heads and Laffy Taffy... you definitely need smaller candy. These are too long and the claw would not pick them up. I do really like the machine, though. I was so excited for this claw machine! It is super cute and the kids love it!! However, for $43 this could be better. First thing is you’re going to need 3 D batteries, so about $10 extra to get it running. Next is getting the claw free and clear was a pain. It has a little bread tie holding some plastic around it. I had to cut the bread tie and move the claw over the hole, and then stick my hand as far as I could to pull the plastic off. My biggest issue though is the music. The machine is durable, hard plastic, and the toggle moves with ease. The sound is loud and annoying, but the kids like it. The toys/prizes inside the machine are garbage. I ordered twice both times broke I seen a small black cord I guess broke the knob stopped working and I don’t know why since that’s even a part you play with. the first time I bought it the volume was very high and the second one I ordered was low volume. Junk don’t buy
