As an artist, I do a lot of collage work, layering papers and other thin materials. For the main work, I use either paste or artists medium and a brush. But afterward, there is always that one piece or corner that didn't stick down. This handy brush pen lets me keep a brush and medium ready for those small fixes. I have filled the pen with Liquitex Matte Medium. Then whenever I need to do some touchup, I can pop open my pen and dab a little glue. The brush makes it possible to control the amount and location of the glue. Then I can just replace the cap and I will have no cleanup! (I rinse or wipe off the tip to remove the excess before recapping it.) I have not had any problems yet with the glue drying on the brush, but I have only gone about a week between uses. This seems like a great addition to the artist’s toolbox.

This is great for touching up the chips all over my paintwork from hauling furniture! The syringe works fine to suck the paint up out of the can; READ the instructions about loading the paint brush. You need to take the small tube out of the larger tube by unscrewing it; then fill it with the syringe while holding it upright. A hint: depress the syringe plunger SLOWLY so the tube fills from the bottom up; much less mess that way. Then screw the tube back into the paint brush. You need to keep depressing the button on the bottom to force the paint up into the brush head; do that over paper just in case you get too much. I found it easy to use and apply; I rinsed the brush out and closed the cap. I'm just wondering how long the paint will stay fresh and useable; it would be great if I could use it over a few weeks! Note: the filling syringe says to discard after use, but I washed it out (the plunger pulls right out); I don't see why it can't be used again. I'm certainly going to give it a try.

This is ingenious! I really do not know what I did before this! Seriously! You just fill the syringe, then from the syringe you fill the plunger/brush part, and when you are ready, push down on the plunger and that puts paint on the brush and you can do tiny touch ups all around the house. What I found to be most convenient, was redoing the tiles on wall in my bathroom. The spaces between them was starting to look old and dingy. By filling just one of these plungers, I was able to add new life to the tile wall and it looks new again! I can see this saving a ton of money on paint when doing touch-ups in other rooms as well. This will be good for fixing chips as they appear. Clean up is easy with soap and water and I let it dry and it is ready to be used again.

Before these paint pens I would use tiny baby food sized jars to store touch up paint and have to pull it out along with a little brush. Now I can quickly grab this and use it without worrying about spilling any paint. It's easy to have multiple of these in different colors to just grab and go fill in nicks and scratches in minutes. I bet these would great for arts and crafts or making posters too. The price is incredible for the whole kit. Love it.
