The price is certainly right compared to the cost from other vendors. For the first 50 copies the print was not particularly good. It smudged and at times created a horizontal line across the page. I took the cartridge out and turned it over a couple of times, cleaned the black dust off and reinserted it. I have used it now for a month and it is doing a good job so far. ... show more

I can't see paying $146.99 for one when you can purchase True Image for $39.99. Work just as good as HP. I give it a 100 % rating.

    • This is not a true clone of the cartridge. Found a broken part after inserting the first one.
It fit so poorly that a part of the insert rail broke. It is possible that I was rough with it when it did not insert. Longevity of the first one was insignificant and did not last three weeks. It appeared that the wipe portion was failing or the toner medium was very small at the manufacturing. In the usual tenor cartridge there is a placard in front that shows you were to grab and insert with the printing print. This cartridge did not have any such printing. It claims to be a replacement for a for HP 26A CF226A. It is not. I purchased 4 cartridges. But they come two to a box. So I will attempt to return one box of 2. HP invalidates it's warranty when you use such cartridges. Yet they are about 1/4 the price. I have chosen refills and compatible cartridges knowing this but knowing that I could purchase another printer with the saving within the warranty period. ... show more
