I'm 5'5 120 lbs and generally wear a small in robes because that's usually the smallest size they come in! But I got this in an XS and it fits like a medium, so I'm glad I sized down. It is a robe so it's not like I was looking for a "perfect fit" anyway. The material is a slinky, soft material. I have several modal robes and was expecting this to be similar, but it's much thicker and heavier than those. It feels like a good quality material. The inside is just as soft as the outside (pretty much the same material inside and out). I washed it in cold water and it said lay flat to dry, but I put it on a hanger to dry (don't have that kind of space to lay it flat to dry!) and it came out just fine. Just as soft as it was before washing. It is a little bit clingy in the butt/thigh area for me, so I'm glad I got it in black which doesn't highlight any lumps and bumps it catches on as much as the lighter colors would. What I don't love is the little foldover shawl detail. It's just not designed properly. It comes up way too high on the back of my neck and it feels like all the weight of the robe is pulling on that one spot. I have neck/tension issues, so this is a big deal to me, but if you're a normal person maybe you wouldn't notice it. It's like the robe was made to not have that shawl detail and but they added it at the last second and didn't alter the cut of the robe. If the shawl wasn't there, it would hit in the proper spot just below my neck and it would be so much better and more comfortable. Overall, while I do think the quality and feel is very nice, I don't necessarily think its worthy of the quite high price point. That combined with the shawl pulling on my neck makes this a 3 star product for me. I don't think I'll find myself reaching for this one often, unfortunately.

Softies products, while slightly expensive, are probably worth it. I love absolutely any softies products. I wish I could purchase more and I wish they had more diversity in colors. I love to wear them lounging around the house or even going out and being what I call super-comf (Kind of a state of being so comfortable you could roll back into bed yet also so comfortable you could probably run a marathon… If you run marathons. I don’t run marathons, so I choose the former!

This really is a lovely, soft and flattering robe. I am 5'4" tall and wear a size 14. I ordered the 2X/3X version of this robe in black. I already have a couple of robes from this brand in this size and I like the extra fabric so I can be sure there is plenty of width to wrap around myself. This Ultra Soft Dream Jersey robe is much lighter in weight and much thinner than my other Softies robe, or any of my other robes for that matter. I'm partial to those thick, heavy cotton terry robes, especially right after a shower or when I am enjoying a cup of tea in the morning before getting ready for my day. I don't really wear them at any other time, though. I am home a lot more than I used to be, and I thought that these Softies robes looked very luxurious and might be a bit nicer than my old sweatshirts for lounging in the evenings. This robe fits me very well, and the fabric is thin and light so it adds absolutely no bulk (one of my other robes from this brand makes me look a bit like a bear) and it drapes beautifully. It doesn't do much as far as keeping me warm and cozy, so this is definitely for warmer weather only. I like the wide 3/4 length kimono style sleeves and having the belt secured at the back is convenient, and a bit more comfortable than it is for some of the other Softies styles. There are also inner ties to help keep the robe closed. The robe is a little longer than knee-length on me and it stays closed all along its length even when I am walking or sitting. The fabric is 95% polyester and 5% spandex (not 96% polyester/4% spandex as described, but I'm sure any difference would be negligible). It is soft and feels plush with a very short, fine nap. But it is so very thin and light that it doesn't seem at all durable and I'm not sure how well it will hold up to ordinary wear. I was almost afraid to launder it before wearing it, that is how delicate it seems. I put it in a mesh laundry bag and washed it in cold water and a gentle cycle. The tags recommend laying it flat to dry so that is what I did and it came out fine. The label also recommends keeping the robe folded rather than on a hanger or hook to prevent it from stretching out of shape. This isn't quite as care-free to wear or care for as I thought it would be. The robe is beautifully made and I really like wearing it, but the current price of $109.00 is pretty extravagant in my view. I think the robe is quite overpriced considering the type of fabric, and I would certainly not pay anywhere near that amount.

I recently have had the opportunity to try quite a few products from this brand. However I have had very mixed feelings depending on which product. For instance I had tried a jogger and hoodie set and it was not great at all. But this Softies Women's Ultra Soft Dream Jersey Robe is fabulous! I’m not generally a robe kind of girl, I have just never been into the huge fluffy and thick robes. But this! This is perfect for me! It’s crazy soft and lightweight, but not so light weight that it’s see through. I’m 5 ft 10in, and it hits me a little higher than I would like at just above my knees. But I don’t even mind because it is super soft and cozy! The size is spot on and fits like it should. If your like me and like a robe that isn’t puffy and thick then this is definitely for you!
