This exhaust sounds amazing. Takes trimming and patience to install, but it fits wonderful if you take your time trim where you need to which I only had to trim the front pipes going into the Muffler you might not have to. If you have a long bed. I have an extended cab short bed pipes come out even at bumper and fits around spare also it sounds fantastic. Overall it’s a great system highly recommend welding it in not using the clamps and I used different hangers for the rear tailpipes but for the price. The kit is wonderful. Just take your time trim what you need to trim and have a welder. I am an experienced auto mechanic so this took me about two hours by myself. ... show more

This product is easy to install if you have a mechanical background. I would suggest you lay all the pieces out in there proper position. Once everything is in place you can install the clamps with light pressure (do not crank them down! Just enough to hold the pieces together) 2 people can fish the piping over the axel the set into place. Loosen the clamps needed to position the hangers and determine your mounting areas. Once hanging, adjust the piping for proper clearance and tighten down. 2 of us installed in 2 hours. The system sounds great and looks great too! ... show more

ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT FIT A 2003 GMC 2500 HD WITH A 6.0 !!! Very disappointed in the advertised as it falsely states it fits this vehicle unable to return as the box it was shipped in was damaged and disposed of ( that is my fault) but feel I should claim fraud with my credit card company do to there false advertising ... show more

I love this and my truck sounds amazing . I’m a female and you should see the men who think it’s a guys truck :) easy to install . Only issue I had was I wish it came with better directions . It has one piece of paper and not good instructions . Thankful for my hubby who knew how to install

    • Vortec 4.8L GMC Sierra 1500 SCREAMS when you romp on it!!!
Did a lot of research. I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 4.8L Vortec four door. Flowmaster Outlaw gives similar sound, but it costs hundreds more, so why waste the money? Magnaflow 44 series was close in sound too. They all last about the same amount of time. This exhaust is not going to get you a ticket if you are just driving normal. If you get after it in front of a cop? Possible stop on decibels- IT IS LOUD! Stock exhaust muffles the potential of the engine, which has great gearing and long accelerating wind up to over 70 mph. There is drone in the cab, even at 70mph- if you don't like cabin noise- stay away. But you can have a conversation with no issues, and I find the drone on the highway very appealing. If you have a stock exhaust on a Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra and want a great sound that will make you look forward to driving- this is the exhaust. My only little point of dismay is that Cherry Bomb did not make a Glasspack Y exhaust. This exhaust has the same grumble and growl that disturbed the peace since 1964 without having to buy two glass packs for a dual cat back system. I love it. It makes me happy. ... show more

Glasspack is good. Sounds decent on a 4.8l. I would definitely take it to a shop and have them weld the whole thing though. You'll need a reducer from the glasspack to the stock exhaust.
