Smells nice, and since you put it in the wash, not the dryer, softens all clothing that I hang dry, especially delicates. Does the job it was intended. Small packaging takes up less space in your laundry room and great for travel.

After the wash: Not bad at all. The scent that was a bit off putting out of the box, was very mild and pleasant on my laundry. It was barely there but gave a nice soft fresh smell. No trouble dissolving in cool water washes but I tear the strip into tiny bits first. So far so good but a bit pricey Earlier: Right off the bat, these were an improvement over the last in-wash softener strips I ordered. The scent of the previous ones were so strong I had to return them. This is much much milder thank goodness. I’d say that instead of “fresh linen” it smells like bubble gum and baby pee…but maybe it will not be as strong when they are in the wash. I haven’t tried them in the wash so I’ll report back later. For now, at least I can keep them in the laundry cupboard without getting a headache from the smell.

I gave 3 stars overall because the concept is good, but you need to use more than instructions indicate, so not very cost effective. I have to use 3 sheets to get the same effect as my liquid softener. If the price goes down I'll try it again. If they offer more than 32 sheets, I'll try it again. 5 stars for scent, 5 stars for easy to use and 4 stars for softness (only because I have to use 3 sheets for a very small load of laundry).

I still can't figure out how these work, but they do. The clothes are definitely not as soft and scent smelling as when you use liquid fabric softner in the rinse cycle, but all you have to do is drop them in at the start of the laundry cycle and no need to run back to try and catch the rinse cycle. My clothes are not as stiff as not using fabric softner and very convenient. I will keep using!

I'm now using sheets for washing laundry and softening laundry. I love not having messy bottles to recycle. My clothes are clean and soft. It's amazing they can make soap sheets that just dissolve in the water and now I have softener that does the same. I still have pods to use and they sort of work but I've found the plastic from the pods sometimes in my clean laundry so I was looking for an alternative and this really fills the bill.
