Light adjuster problem

Adjusters don't work with a #2 screwdriver. Snap on, craftsman, doesn't matter. Had to take the park lamps off in order to get a wrench on the adjuster nut. The left side used a 3/8 wrench, the right side nut was too big for a 3/8 wrench, had to use a 10mm wrench. So yeah. 40 year ASE/GM master. I contacted TRQ, was told to send them back to Amazon for exchange within 30 days. Sure I'm going to box these things back up. Each lamp was in it's own box, then the 2 were in a bigger box together, finally a 4th box to hold the bigger box. Good packaging but the adjusters should have been tested BEFORE selling to the customer. Never again.

Ok quality. The assemblies looked like they were in a fire and then had the lenses replaced. Poorly made, terrible quality control. The fitment was ok. They work, but something with better fit and finish would’ve been great.

Check the size for a tundra

Fits 2001 Sequoia, carrier bracket seems solid.

No observant person will say that they would have sworn this is an OEM part...sticks out forward a bit looking like it's too deep to actually fluidly fit with the hood/grill edge lines...but the mounts are accurate and tight and, most importantly, the aiming hardware functions well. The mold isn't necessarily impressive...I will need to add some high-temp sealant to the top lens<>housing seam on the driver's side to keep it dry...but I have a 25 year old vehicle and lets be honest, the options for purchasing parts are decreasing rapidly. I'm just glad these can be sourced somewhere... Value? Most of the Amazon options have similar costs...I reviewed a different product pair I had purchased 72 hours earlier that wasn't much different in price, but the carrier/mount was quite flimsy, and after several modifications to try to make them work, I had to just discard them. This TRQ set seems far sturdier in the mount materials and general workmanship. Make sure you look up the installation process on YouTube as getting the side markers out without breaking them is not impossible, but it's not intuitive. I found my inexpensive plastic tools for handling auto trim are very helpful for getting those to disengage...be patient.
