Description

The Accupoint 3-9X 40 Riflescope with a crosshair Mil-Dot aiming reticle with an amber illuminated center dot offers a larger, 40-millimeter objective diameter, great for long distance shooting. Illuminated through the use of fiber optics for automatic light adjustments and a built-in self- luminous Tritium Phospor Lamp, this powerful scope provides a vivid crosshair Mil-Dot aiming reticle with an illuminated amber center dot without the need for failure-prone batteries. Combining the superior clarity of a multilayer coated lens, the unsurpassed edge-to-edge optical clarity of a Multi-Focus Eyepiece, and the durability of a hard-anodized aircraft-quality aluminum body, this scope offers the precision performance to get the job done in any light conditions. Rivaling the performances of scopes twice the price, the Accupoint riflescope operates entirely without batteries--eliminating the potential for failure during critical moments in the field. The scope's Trijicon Fiber Optics automatically adjusts the brightness level and contrast of the Trijicon Aiming Point reticle to the available light conditions. Trijicon's Manual Brightness Adjustment Override allows you to control the light output of the fiber optics during daylight to suit your individual preference. The multi-layer coated lens provides superior light transmission with no distortion, while the quick-focus eyepiece ensures unsurpassed edge- to-edge optical clarity. Long-eye relief protects against high-impact recoil from larger caliber rifles and precise windage and elevation adjustments make custom adjustments quick and easy. Backed by a lifetime warranty that protects against manufacturer's defects, the Accupoint riflescope is crafted from aircraft-quality, hard-anodized aluminum with a tube that's nitrogen-filled to prevent corrosion and eliminate fogging. A solid black-matte finish eliminates glare and light reflection, which could spook game. Water resistant to depths of 10 feet, the Accupoint is able to handle even the most challenging hunting conditions. The Accupoint 3-9X 40 Mil-Dot Riflescope comes complete with a set of lenscaps, a lenspen, a Trijicon Logo Sticker, a manual, and warranty card. The Lenspen features a safe and easy to use retractable dust removal brush and a special non-liquid cleaning element, designed to never dry out. The die cut Trijicon Logo sticker measures at 3 x 2.75 inches and is made from durable red and black silk-screened 4-millimeter white opaque vinyl that can be applied to any flat surface for a permanent stick. • Couldn't be happier!
Color: Black Style: MIL-Dot Crosshair
As a 60 yr old new to deer hunting in 2014, I've spent too much money on various scopes I thought would "fit" my needs on the various properties I hunt. I hunt deep woods and long open fields, so quite a range of conditions. I have several 40mm and 50mm lens in the Leupold class, have shot rifles with Nikons, etc.; then was turned on to the Trijicon AccuPoint by a quiet hunter in our club referred to as "the deer whisperer." This guy trains military shooters, and never fails to bring back the big buck or doe practically every time he hunts. As most deer in our locale seem to come out just before sunrise and just after sunset, I've been challenged to see the black crosshairs on traditional scopes, since they tend to get absorbed by the deer's relatively dark hide in low light. Not so with the Trijicon AccuPoint. That tiny fluorescent green dot on the mil spec reticle lets you know right where those cross hairs are without getting "bitten" by the scope when firing in low light conditions. The scope pulls good light well before legal shots in the morning or after quitting time at night, so seeing the deer is no problem. The fluorescent dot is tiny, so it doesn't block your shot. I just cracked off a neck shot on New Year's Day that dropped a 160lbs buck like a rock, courtesy of my Trijicon Accupoint newly mounted on my Weatherby .30-06. I couldn't be happier with this scope. It's a bit pricy compared to some, but you'll be ecstatic with the results. ... show more

  • Great scope for the money
Color: Green Style: Standard Duplex Crosshair
I've been a big Trijicon fan for years, since purchasing some night sights for a Beretta pistol about a decade ago. Having recently purchased a Winchester Model 70, 7mm-08 in a synthetic stock, I wanted a suitable optic to pair with the gun. I was going for a lightweight, all purpose rifle with this build, and the Accupoint seemed like a good fit. In the past, I've run Zeiss Conquest, Nightforce, Leupold, Nikon, and Burris scopes, to name a few. While each of these scopes have their merits, I do a lot of hog hunting in south-central Texas, and therefore, quite a bit of shooting at dusk. So, I was really looking for a illuminated reticle. If money were no object, I may have purchased a Nightforce, but dropping that kind of cash simply wasn't in the cards. So, I came to the Accupoint, which seemed like a perfect fit. Illuminated reticle, powered by tritium so it needs no batteries, in a relatively small, lightweight, attractive package. I received the scope, and have been quite happy so far. I mounted the scope with some Talley mounts with integral rings, which seems like a good combo. Optically, the glass is clear, and there are no distortions to speak of throughout the scope's range. I haven't had a chance to use this scope in any real low light settings yet, so I can't speak to how well this glass compares to others, but during daylight conditions, it is very clear and bright. The tritium dot works as advertised, emitting enough of a glow to be useful, yet not distracting, in low light conditions. During the day, the brightness of the dot is controlled by varying the amount of light that enters via the fiber optics on the scope, and is completely adjustable. Again, I've not found the dot to "bloom" or be distracting in either low-light or ordinary conditions. This scope is somewhat unique in its price-point. It is priced just above most "mid-tier" scopes, but well below your top of the line scopes. While time is ultimately the best test for any scope, if this scope lives up to the Trijicon name, I don't expect to be disappointed. If my thoughts on this scope change, I'll be sure to update this review, but as of this writing, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this scope to anyone shooting in dawn and dusk low-light conditions. ... show more

  • Must have scope
Color: Black Style: MIL-Dot Crosshair
I got this optic to mount on my Scar 17. The rifle is somewhere between a battle rifle and a DMR so i felt this optic would fit it nicely. I used it this weekend and it seems to do exactly what i wanted. The glass is exceptionally clear and the crosshairs are perfect. If i had any complaint it would be the the purely tridium illuminated dot is not as bright as a chevron style crosshair. Otherwise this a a great intermediate scope. Its great for night hunts for predators and for just plain old backpacking self defense. I wish I could afford the Accupoint series for all my rifles. ... show more

  • Best Scope EVER
Color: Black Style: MIL-Dot Crosshair
You think the scope is expensive for just a simple green dot in the middle of the scope? Try using any other scope in low-light or DARKNESS and see if you can even think to hit something with it. Yes, Swarovski scopes are sharper, however are completely useless at night. I use the trijicon for night hunts for predators and for just plain old backpacking self defense. I wish I could afford the Accupoint series for all my rifles. ... show more

  • Shoot a rifle like a shotgun and drop deer like ducks
Color: Red Style: Triangle Post Reticle
This scope is like no other. I'm a waterfowl hunter so I shoot fast at fast moving targets. Looking through this scope and having the point is like a bead on a shotgun. I have it mounted on my remington 7600 weathermaster mounted on a deadnutz scope mount and I'm getting overlapping groups with stock federal loads, and although its the rifle that's producing the groups, it wouldn't be possible without these optics. This past hunting season I had 4 deer walk in on me, a buck and 3 does and I killed all 4 in a row. I was able to hit them all high shoulder and they were all DRT where I shot them. My cousin and my dad came over out of their stands nearby after they heard all of the shooting and their jaws were on the ground at the sight of 4 dead deer laying there. We all went home with venison that day. This scope is amazing. I can acquire my target extremely fast make the killshot whether its moving or not. ... show more

  • Great scope, high quality, clear optics, the illumination works in all lighting or lack thereof
Color: Black Style: MIL-Dot Crosshair
Great scope. Don't get the milrads though. Get the scope that is calibrated to your caliber. Milrads are a mathematical nightmare that is not how normal human beings think.
