The Trijicon 1-6 SFP credo gets you Trijicon quality and Japanese glass at a price point that is manageable for a lot of people. They do this by keeping the feature set very simple. SFP remains a good choice for 1-4x and 1-6x optics, and keeps the price down. At 1-8x and above you may want to consider FFP. At 1-6x you are almost certainly at max magnification if you are utilizing the reticle subtensions, so FFP has little benefit. I'm not a huge fan of BDC's but the BDC in this scope is well executed. It is designed for a 16" barrel and 55gr which is a common setup, however if you deviate from that you will need to memorize your holds. Particularly beyond 400yds where it will begin to deviate noticeably. This is always the downside to a BDC. Illumination is not daylight bright, but the reticle performs very well in daylight and the illumination works well in mixed lighting or dark conditions. The HX version of this scope may have brighter illumination, but you will pay more. Eye relief is excellent at 1x and very good at 6x. Not best in class but quite good in both cases. Overall this is a slept on optic. "For those who know" ... show more
