This is the second pair of this type of running shoe that I've bought. They're lightweight and are comfortable to run in. The only thing I didn't care for is that the laces are just a bit too short to be easy to tie and untie quickly, but that is easily fixed with replacement laces (I bought a pair of elastic laces that turn the shoes into slip-ons). The short laces might not even bother you, as it also means you don't have much dangling around while you run. This pair of shoes handily got me through my second marathon. The previous pair got me through the last one. So I'd say they work for me just fine.

After being a Nike for years I think they are targeting the younger crowd so I tried Brooks. These are by far the best shoe I have ever owned. Very supportive and great cushion. Can go all day with zero fatigue. I tried ON as well and they were awful glad i found a new brand.

I got these because I really like the look and feel of my Anthems I got for Father's Day and like the look of these even better. They're still the second most comfortable shoes I've ever owned (just behind the Anthems), but the tongue is thin and the tie shoe laces can be felt on the top of your foot. I replace all mine with elastic no tie laces, so it's not near as noticeable now, but when I first got them and had the tie laces in I could definitely feel them even if I tied them loose. If you're looking for looks for daily wear, I'd go with these and some of those elastic no tie laces here on Amazon. If you're going to do a lot of running or physical activity and need the support you get from tied shoe laces, I would more recommend the Anthems. These are good looking and comfortable soles though, don't get me wrong, they're not uncomfortable by any stretch, they're just slightly less than the Anthems.
