We love the features. I searched thru many similar trikes and combed thru *many* reviews. I love that the pedals are easy to remove, install, and store (though I have temporarily placed them out of reach so that my toddler won't lose them 🙃). Rotating the training wheels upward is very simple. I love that the seat has two adjustable heights; one of my main concerns when trying to find the right trike for my toddler was making sure we didn't get one that was too short or too tall. He's currently on the shorter setting, so I'm glad it will be able to grow with him. We also love that the handle bar has a good range of motion. I had seen reviews of similar trikes that either didn't turn, or had very subtle movement. My 2 year old took to it very quickly and seems very comfortable on it! ... show more

This tricycle comes in what seems to be a very small box for the size it ends up being. Each part is in its own sealed plastic bag, so it takes about 5 minutes just to open all the bags. Assembly takes no more than 15 minutes, and it is incredibly easy. TIPS: (1) In Step 1, note that one of the small wheels seems to be at an odd angle, but you can press the red round button to swivel the wheel once it's attached. This instruction is on the first page at the bottom right, and it's not actually in any of the steps. (2) Step 4 image shows the seat installed, but it actually isn't put on until Step 5. (3) Step 4 image show the training wheels are in place, but the prior steps never direct you to put on the training wheels, so go ahead and do it now. It is a little stiff getting them on, just be sure to put them on evenly; it helps to put the bike on the floor on the handle bars and push the wheels on towards the floor. CONS: * If it matters to you, there is very little turning radius with the handle bars, maybe about 30 degrees in either direction (see my pictures). This means that the rider won't be able to turn sharply in either direction but rather will need to make wider turns. * Not in love with the color scheme... brown pleather seat and brown handlebar grips don't really look all that complementary with the bright red on the metal. * Only the handlebars and main frame pieces are metal, everything else is plastic. It doesn't feel like that compromises the sturdiness or durability of the tricycle, I only mention it in case you are thinking everything is metal. PROS: * The wheels are a foamy plastic and have a little give to them; they would be ideal for both indoors and outside. * The training wheels can be folded upwards with a simple button push and don't have to be fully removed for the rider to use the tricycle as a bicycle. * The pedals can be easily removed with a simple button push which allows the rider to self-propel with their legs rather than with pedals. This could be beneficial for younger/smaller riders. * There are no screws or bolts... everything is put together with a click button mechanism which makes it incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble. Last page of the instructions is hilarious - "Thank you for your choice. You are so different." Okay, LOL! ... show more

Since her older sister (3) had a tricycle she liked to ride around the driveway I wanted to get our younger daughter (1) something that seemed similar but was age appropriate. Great tricycle. Very sturdy and it doesn't tip over. The one year old uses it as a balance bike, sitting on the seat and propelling herself around the driveway with her feet. We chose to use it outside but the wheels seem fine for indoors, a light color so they won't scuff and soft so they won't scratch. We chose to make it an outside toy because that's where her sister rides her bike and it's a great excuse to get them both outside in the fresh air and exercising. ... show more
