This bookshelf is absolutely worth the money. It’s heavy, very sturdy, and looks great. It would be better to have two people put it together, as it has a multitude of shelves, almost 100 screws that uses an Allen wrench (the kit provides two, and a Phillips screwdriver), and the verticals need to be positioned with the holes to the back. I found thi out the hard way, and had to disassemble a good bit to correct my mistake. The end result is worth it. ... show more

I was a bit nervous but it was perfect for what I wanted so I took the leap. Two boxes. Slight damage but is hidden. It’s sturdy and decent materials. I laid out all materials and built face down on the floor. It was common sense and rather simple. A bit tedious screwing all the screws but I hand did at first and then went back and tightened everything. It took a bit of time, but easy. Lifting it to set on its feet obviously took two people. This product for the very reasonable price is just WONDERFUL. I am accustomed to very high end furniture. However, we are currently in temporary digs and I did not want to spend too much. My order arrived in two boxes. Earlier than expected and three days apart. I contacted the seller who was very gracious. They told me that the deliveries often happened that way. Which is nothing the seller has control over. Once it arrived, we hired a furniture assembly person . Who did an excellent and quick job of assembling this piece. Much to our delight ! It is spectacular but very Industrial or Modern by the lines. Interesting form. Takes up very little floor space. Holds lots of books and small decorative items.Could not be more pleased. This unit is being filled with actual books & it is very sturdy. I’ve had to use bookends on most shelves but that’s fine. The only problem is that a shelf is missing from the unit & when I contacted the seller I was told it would be shipped but never heard back as to when.
