I see a lot of complaints about assembly, namely of the desktop portion. I can definitely see where that could be a problem, two big things to note about this desks assembly is that the desktop bolts could definitely be stripped out of the wood very easily. They screw into plastic inserts in the wood, if you over-torque those, itll spin the plastic inserts. I saw that risk pretty early on and didnt have that problem, but i see others have. Do not overtorque the desktop, it just needs to be tight enough to not move and to lay flat. You loosen them up slightly and tap the boards around the edges to line them up, its 5 pieces in total and as long as the center piece is in there mostly straight, the rest straightens out fine. The other thing to note about this desk is that much like the desktop, the main frame bolts have no protection against you overtorquing them, now the potential for damage there is much lower since you would need to crank on them quite a lot to get it to pull a bolt through the threads, but its more like you have no indicator of when to stop screwing them in. The square tubing will start bending in well before it feels like youre at a stopping point. I found everything was most snug when the bolts were ever so slightly pulled in. Its not really visible in my picture but each bolt on the longest main square tubing sections are dented in slightly, but i could easily keep going, and one of them i had to back off a bit because im pretty sure if i kept going it would pull threads out. Just keep that in mind. Otherwise it was pretty easy to put together, i did it solo in about 30 minutes. Most of that time is spent getting everything out of the box and organizing it. There wasnt any question about which piece is which or which bolts are which, its all well labeled and makes sense. It doesnt really tell you how to put it together, but i recommend doing the desktop surface pieces while its upside down on the ground, provided youre ok to flip it back over when youre done, as the desk when its just a frame is light, but with the desktop is very heavy. The other option is to put the desktop panels in when the frame is flipped over, and this is probably better if youre ok with crouching under the desk while you fasten it in. I personally dont want to decimate my back so i did not do that, i just lifted one side up and slipped a panel in at a time until it was all secure, then flipped the desk and started aligning the panels better.

I'm 72, my husband is 76. We are not healthy. We got the box to the room the table was going to live in. East to open, all parts in separate zip bags included is a hex key. Corners are blocked, easily removed. Very well packaged with styrofoam "boards". We wrestled it up on the twin bed, sat on our office chairs and attached the tow bolts per leg, and then 2 end supports. There is a seam on the end supports you will want to attach this seam pointing up toward the end of the leg. It wouldn't be a thing to notice but just do it right anyway🙂there were even very nice cleat corner protectors with tape on them. Use a tweezer to remove paper over tape and put thick side on top of table. An extra I didn't expect. I'm using it to sew on and when our little Ruthie comes we will do our crafts and games and tea parties there. I have limited space so I have the 4'x2' table. I love it and I trust this company.

Depth is what I bought this desk for. I wanted room to mount my monitors and have two PCs in front of me that I could switch between using a KVM switch. This desk far exceeds what I expected. There's plenty of room and it looks great. It's a little time consuming to assemble alone because there are a LOT of screws, but that is part of what makes it so sturdy. I will say that, as a mechanical engineer, this product team designed the assembly VERY well. There is no fighting for screw/hole alignment despite the large number of screws. That is not a simple task to accomplish without resulting in a wobbly product, so well done by the team for that. I may buy another just to create mega desk.
