The desk is sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a clean look. I was able to fit drawers underneath for extra storage. The table top also looks like real wood This is great for a home office.

  • Great Desk For the Price!!!
Size: 55*23.6 inch Color: White
Love the desk! Clean sleek look! Building it only took about 30 min, very easy to assemble. Given how the desk is made, you can do great cable management and mount ur power strip or tie up any wires to the bottom of the desk for a cleaner look! It’s sturdy and well built for the price but the only thing to watch out for is putting the middle bars on the bottom of the legs. over tightening can cause the legs to cave in and be dented around the bolt due to the hallow legs. I recommend you to install the black plastic feet caps into the bottom leg bars before screwing in the bolts for the middle support from leg to leg. Or you won’t be able to get the feet caps in when tight. Other wise, I’m very happy with the product and shipping care was very neat! No damage found anywhere! ... show more

  • None of the issues you read on Negative Reviews
I was a little wary from some of the reviews on this desk. First, I was worried about the shipping. It arrived with no issues. It was packed well with styrofoam surrounding all sides of the desk (see pic). There were some small holes in the outside of the shipping box but did not penetrate the styrofoam. Second, I was worried about the writing surface of the desk. While there is a very slight texture to the desktop (see pics), it had zero effect on me writing on it. I took a single sheet of paper and a pen and wrote what I wanted cleanly with no problems. I could barely feel the texture when writing, but caused me no problems. I guess if you are a calligrapher and write with fine tip pens, maybe you have an issue??? I'm really not sure what the issue is with some folks writing on this desk. Third, I was worried about the sturdiness of the desk. Relatively speaking, it is a cheap desk and didn't want to deal with a wobbly desk. I saw there were a few other brands that had a very similar desk, but I went with Tribesigns because the desk weighed about 30% more and supposedly supports 900 lbs on it (competitors were around 300 lbs). It looked like the the additional weight was in the thickness of the table top and the additional support in the legs. I decided if a desk is going to be sturdy, Tribesigns was the best bet. After the desk was put together, no issues at all with wobbling. It does only weight circa 60 lbs so you can bump it and move it more easily than say the desks that weigh hundreds of pounds (that you pay a lot more money for), but that is to be expected. When I write or type of the desk, not a single issue...nice and sturdy. Lastly, I was worried about the quality of the desk. I wanted to attach a metal compact pencil drawer to the particle board table top (see pic). I wasn't sure how the desk would hold to drilling, screwing, and the weight of the drawer but ran into absolutely zero problems. It was a nice addition to the desk. As far as the assembling of the desk, I ran into none of the problems others talked about. The only thing I noticed is the legs will very slightly bow if you tighten the screws really tight (legs are hallow). I didn't tighten mine overly tight...just nice and snug...didn't effect the sturdiness. If I had to complain about anything with this desk, it would be the support bar that hangs under the desk. It takes up about 2 more inches of space and when you add it to the 1 inch table top, you lose 3 inches of the height. I'm 6'3 and losing any height in a desk is kind of a pain, but I decided to work around it...what is losing an inch or two off a 29+ inch high desk top...it wasn't worth me not buying the desk. The other complaint I had is I couldn't find the 63 inch desk anywhere and had to go with the 55 inch. Again, not a deal breaker, but did like that option. Lastly, for my own selfish reasons, I wish there was a support bar that ran at the back bottom of the desk. I could use it as a pedestal but more importantly to hide wires that run on the floor (i.e. power cord from wall outlet to computer, etc.). The desk does not come equipped with any cable management features, so I will have to get creative in how to hide/blend wires with the desk. Overall, I recommend this desk to anyone that is looking for a no frills budget desk. It is not the most exciting (from a features standpoint) but the quality is really good (for what you pay) and looks really nice in the room. ... show more

  • A Workhorse Printers Table for the Last 9 Years
Size: 55*23.6 inch Color: Teak + Black Leg
Background: Purchased this desk to place my regular and 3d printers in my office. Wanted something that was sturdy, and the specs called for carrying capacity of up to 900 lbs. It was $155, which was a little dear for me then. Pros: 1. It is sturdy. Keeps the 2 printers from moving it or the printers themselves from vibrating or rocking. The legs are strong and well made. 2. Decent looks. It almost has industrial looks, yet looks just at home in my office. 3. The height is just right to align with my other desks, without looking too off from those surfaces. 4. I like the Teak color. It has been discontinued. I was debating between that or full black color. 5. The finish is decent, not many blemishes. 6. The packaging was good and so was the setup. Cons - rather improvements: 1. The teak veneer has shown some wear along the corners. Granted it may have been from the move and some handling while doing so. 2. One of the screws does not go flush with the surface, it does not make the table wiggle, but if I am down on the floor, it just looks odd. Moved that leg in the back to keep my OCD from getting in high gear. Bottom-line: This desk has served its purpose and then some. It is a good looking, sturdy device that has gone through serious movements and vibrations from the printers, but seems to have been holding well. Will buy it again. ... show more

  • Very pleased with my new desk.
Size: 47*23.6 inch Color: Rustic Brown
My Tribesigns desk arrived today and I am very pleased. The delivery was fast. It was well packed in styrofoam and arrived with no chips or damage. It was easy to put together, just a matter of bolting on the legs and the braces. The walnut top is beautiful and looks very solid. The desk itself is very solid. No wiggle or wobble. I am impressed that even the underside of the desktop is wood, not particle board. If it chips with use I will write a follow-up review. ... show more

  • Good Product, Frustrating Customer Service
First off, I want to say that the desk itself is sturdy and what was advertised, I don't have any issues with the actual product once I got the correct pieces to assemble. The problem I had was that one of the four desk legs which should have been machined like the other 3, was defective. The screw holes were smooth and didn't have the grooves machined in to accept the screws. Therefore I could only attach 3 of the 4 legs.....not exactly a sturdy desk with only 3 legs. I contacted the company customer service to ask for a replacement leg which I thought was going to be pretty straightforward. It was not and I'll give bullet points below: - It took 21 (YES, 21) emails back and forth before I received the leg (which was the wrong one...later on that below). It took about a month to get the replacement leg. - I explained the problem in detail, which anyone familiar with their product or any desk in general and knows how to screw in a screw should be able to understand. However, this was not the case. Many times, it seemed like they never even read my emails listing out the problem in detail, step by step. They gave what seemed like stock answers, regardless of what I had written. - They asked for pictures of the problem to better understand it? Really? The screw holes don't have threads so the screw can't screw into them. Not rocket science here but I sent them 2 pictures and asked them to send a replacement leg. (the screw holes are welded into the leg, so you need to have the entire leg replaced. - They STILL didn't understand the problem and now asked for a video of the issue. So I guess I'm a movie producer now? Sent them a video. Said it was too short. Told them too bad they now have 2 pictures and a video, figure it out. - They asked me for the part number, I told them the instructions did NOT have part numbers listed....asked them shouldn't they know the part numbers for their own products? (I gave them the name of desk, amazon order number and the tracking number of the desk). - Sent me another email saying they don't have that leg part in their warehouse. Really? Um, try opening a box with a complete desk and send me that? - Sent me another email saying the address I provided was incorrect....Really? You had my address when you sent the desk and it arrived using that same address. Re-sent the same address, AGAIN. - Asked them to make sure they sent the CORRECT desk leg as there is a cross beam on the bottom of the leg so they would have two different leg types (holes drilled on opposite sides) because the bottom holes have to line up. Told them to send me both leg types if they couldn't figure out which leg it was (from the pictures and video's I sent). - Yep, you guessed it, they only sent one leg and with a 50/50 chance they screwed it up and sent me the wrong leg. (since I wasn't going to go through another month of 20+ emails, pictures, video's, etc., to get another wrong leg) I just grabbed a drill and made two new holes on the correct sides of the leg and screwed the bottom cross beam in. I can live with the two extra holes on the wrong sides of the leg). At least now my desk is sturdy with the 4 legs attached. - On the plus side all the emails started with, "Hi dear" so I guess I have a new close friend in China. Also, the replacement leg (although the wrong one) was wrapped very good and I believe they did send it via Airmail. So great desk, would have given it a 5 star rating if I was able to assemble it in like 20 minutes rather than the 1 month plus it took to get the replacement leg. Their Customer Service however needs a lot of work and I would only rate that a 1, which is why I gave this a 3 rating. - ... show more
