  • Great desk, can be difficult to assemble but not bad if you're handy
Size: 70.8*31.5 inch Color: Vintage + Black
After reading some of the horror stories here about assembly, I was not hopeful, but there's no other desk that quite matches these dimensions and amount of tabletop real estate. I bought the one with 4 tabletop panels, it took me an hour to put together solo, but I'm fairly handy and I have some tips in case it helps anyone else: - All the bolts/screws come in one big bag. Dump them all out and organize them by type and length, and put all the washers on them now. Label each pile A through F - Get some anti-seize or put a drop of mineral oil on the tread of each bolt/screw that is going to be screwed into metal, makes it easier to get it in since the materials are alike and will also help when you need to disassemble. - For the very first step, the two interconnecting pieces that goes in between the two rails has tolerances that allows the thing to be screwed together without the two rails meeting completely flush. Push one end against a wall or have someone hold it, then push the two together while tightening down the 6 fasteners so that the rails are right up against each other and perfectly aligned when screwing the cross beams. - Step 2 can be skipped. I don't know why they put the instructions in this order, the 4 corner teethed pieces can be added later, and it's much easier to do so later - Step 3 is adding a number of cross members to the two main rails and the best way to get this going is to put the screws/fasteners in all the way through holes first, then put the cross member up against the screw once you see it peeking out and then hand tighten. Hand tighten everything, don't tighten anything down with tools yet. - Once the frame is put together (sans legs), slide the table top pieces under the framing and use a flashlight to line up the plastic threads under the table tops with the holes in the rails. Just get one aligned in the corner, start screwing in one bolt hand tight, then go to the very opposite corner and rotate/pivot the piece until the other corner is lined up and you can screw that in, then screw everything in. You won't be able to hand tighten these in a way that keeps the in place when you flip it over, so I'd turn it a few times with a tool, but still don't tighten all the way yet - put the corner pieces and legs together by putting the screws that go into the corners first, then putting the smaller bolts that go into the L-shaped supporting leaf off the rail by moving the leg up and down after the corners have been loosely attached - flip the whole desk making sure nothing is too loose, and once it's on the ground, line up all the table top pieces perfectly paying attention to the edges and fitment before going under the desk and screwing down the tabletop. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a screwdriver with a thick handle for this. - finally spread the loose legs of the desk as they probably toed in because of not being tight, and then screw the everything else down. If you're not handy this may take you a while. Knocked a star off for having incredibly hard to read directions that is just a photo and doesn't have any explanation whatsoever. It is also incredibly small in font and and the pictures are hard to make out. ... show more

  • Beautiful deep desk
This desk is not the easiest to put together. The top portion on the 63 inch comes in 4 pieces. You have to build the frame that the table portion sits on. I eventually got my 22 year old daughter to reluctantly help lol. Overall Its a beautiful deep desk which is what I wanted. My desk was free of any damages and was packed very well. Instructions are a little vague on screws but if you have common sense it won't be a problem. It's solid and sturdy considering its particle board. The Frame is metal which accounts for its sturdiness & weight. The top The top of the desk is textured slightly so not completely smooth but I use a desk blotter as you can see in my pictures. I am very happy with this desk and glad that I bought it. ... show more

  • Great buy
Size: 70.8*31.5 inch Color: Rustic + Black
72x31 desk. Shipping was 5 days delivered by UPS. Packaging is not discrete (your neighbors will know what you ordered) and would suggest it would have been double boxed. But nothing was damaged and all pieces still in place. The metal frame is designed well, it is the cheaper of the metals and very thin, but do to really good engineering it is very sturdy. overall assembly of the desk was fairly straight forward, and they do include tools, instructions, and extra hardware. The top is laminated particle board about 1/2in thick, looks good, but you know, it's cheap wood with a sticker on it.. didn't matter to me though because I covered the entire top with a LTT mouse pad, monitors and a pc, so overall rating is about 7.5. The size of the desk and how sturdy it is really pushed the score up there a ways. I will be buying 2 more of these in the future. $189, is the price when I ordered it. ... show more

  • It's a really nice desk.
Size: 70.8*31.5 inch Color: Vintage + Black
I purchased the Vintage + Black 70.8*31.5 inch model. I've been using it here for a while now and it has preformed exactly as one would hope a desk would. It's very spacious and sturdy, no wobbles or anything. The only problem with the unit was during assembly, the instructions were a bit vague and left you having to guess where a number of the screws and washers actually went but it wasn't anything a little common sense and reasoning weren't able to overcome. In all I would certainly recommend this desk to anyone who needs one. ... show more

  • Functional, Spacious, and Cheap
Size: 70.8*31.5 inch Color: Rustic + Black
I got the 70.8" x 31.5", though the width is really more like 70" but that's fine in my opinion. The instructions were super simple and it took me about an hour to build while chilling and listening to podcasts I'm using this for my gaming setup with two 32" monitors arm-mounted by clamps to the desk's metal frame. It holds the weight like a champ and seems quite stable. The fake wood finish/coating is cheap and was already peeling off at numerous places along the edges when I unboxed this, plus it really accentuates any fingerprints. It also didn't come with any washers and creaks a bit when moved in certain ways. Overall, for under $200 I am very impressed with this and would highly recommend it if you need a lot of desk space and don't care about the aesthetic issues. ... show more

  • Excellent Workstation!
Size: 70.8*31.5 inch Color: Vintage + Black
I purchased this workstation to be used as a craft table that would be sturdy enough to hold a heat press, computer, and multiple printers; not only is it extremely sturdy and definitely has the weight capacity as described, but it looks great, fits perfectly in my workspace, and has extra space needed for crafting! ... show more
