The media could not be loaded. So, I wanted something with a “mid century modern” feel to go with my bedroom. Gold wasn’t an option when purchasing so I purchased it in black and decided to paint it a nice matte gold. It turned a very “dark industrial” feeling piece into something lighter and with the mid century modern look I was going for. The matte gold looks great with the walnut finish of the shelves. I absolutely love the way it turned out after painting it. Even in black it’s a nice piece, but not the look I wanted. Lots of room to put things, and again, MUCH sturdier than I thought it would be. I bought this shelf because it fit exactly where I needed it to. It went together fairly easily. Just make sure you watch which direction all of the holes in the crossbars are in and don’t tighten anything all the way until the end.
