The shelf definitely adds that industrial rustic look to your home if that's the way you're going for. Shelves are actually pretty sturdy. Pros: 1.) Well built 2.) Cheap 3.) Sturdy Cons: 1.)     • Beautiful but a bit awkward to assemble
Love this shelf, also got a vote from my picky husband. It looks great and is very sturdy. One note is that this shelf has a "front" - the back of the shelf has extra screws through the inverted v shaped support that screw into the shelf. Not a major deal since we are putting it against a wall but it would bug me if I were planning to use this as a room divider type setting. There were a few small blemishes on the veneer finish and black metal frame but nothing that is noticeable after assembly. It is also bit awkward to assemble since it is so large, but I'm also 5'0" tall. I think 1 tall person with a decent arm reach could assemble this themselves easily, or two small people like myself. One short person presents some challenges. ... show more

Love this bookcase so much. It's visually appealing, easy to put together, sturdy, and just plain cool. I got this after my friend did because I loved the look and size so much. When I contacted to company about possibly having to cancel, they were so kind and prompt jn replying. Ended up not needing to cancel. But still customer service was top notch. They send you plenty of extra parts in case you lose something as well as little screw driver. The legs have adjustable feet, which was a life saver in my slightly slopey apt. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Between my friend and I we have 3. If I had room I'd get another one. ... show more

We love the shelving unit now, but the unit arrived damaged. We didn't realize it until we had unpacked it and started to put it together. Two of the legs were damaged enough that the rubber feet would not fit. The metal framing is very well made and very sturdy, luckily my husband has a vice and was able to straighten the legs. The unit was packed well with lots of protection, but the framing still had many scratches, however, nothing that a can of black spray paint couldn't fix. After repairs were completed, the unit went up quickly. All parts were supplied with extras. We attached it to the wall for additional safety and those parts were supplied as well. We love the unit now, but it was a little more work to assemble than we originally thought. ... show more

This shelf is much larger than what we had in our hallway previously but because it’s hardly a foot deep it seems to take up less space. Beautiful and sturdy the black metal works great with our other furniture and it fills the space nicely

It is sturdy and very trendy. It was easy to put together, but I'm also pretty good at things like that from my Ikea days. Much more sturdy than an Ikea piece, but not solid like at Grandma's house either. Just giving you a range.....

    • Perfect for that collection
It was east to assemble just took a bit longer in the tighter spaces but soo worth it. My daughter was able to add all her anime and Manga collection and it looks like it was made for her room. Sturdy and very spacious.
