Because the helmet is supposed to have no room to knock around. That’s literally the point of it. To not be mishandled before it gets to the person who’s going to use it as they are not supposed to be dropped.. fogged up right away. I dont know.. this wouldn’t fit a person with a big head as I have normally 7 and 3/8.. I ordered an extra large.. and it doesn’t compress my ears so much which is perfect.. one size smaller would’ve been way too snug ... show more

I tried a 1/2 helmet before this and didn’t like it. This 3/4 one is awesome. Padding under the chin is a plus.
