This helmet is just what I was looking for. I normally wear a full face modular helmet but they can be very confining in the summer heat, especially on short casual rides. The quality of this 3/4 helmet is outstanding in terms of fit and finish. The integrated dark visor operates very smoothly and may be deployed with one hand. A black plastic sun visor that attaches with three snaps is also included. The helmet lining is well padded and has the appearance of a luxury car interior. The helmet opening easily accommodates my Oakley goggles however the goggle strap at the back is too short for them. The chin strap is the ratcheting type that I prefer over the more common D-rings. My only concerns are that a replacement flip down visor may be hard to find if scratched or damaged (they are currently out of stock on Amazon) although other snap-on visor options are available. There is also no way to lock this type of helmet to a motorcycle when parked.

I suppose I will start with the good points. This is an excellent price. It is DOT rated. All the interior pads appear to be removable, although I did not do so (more on that below). It is nicely finished, and quite attractive. Now for the downside. I ordered a Large, but that was probably a mistake. My head size basically splits the difference between Large and Extra Large. The helmet fits me well for the most part, but it sits quite high on my head. Which I find odd, because my fat cheeks are not squished, and it doesn’t feel tight, but it obviously doesn’t come down far enough. Because it fit well in all other regards, I’m a bit confused frankly. If I had an XL, it would probably sit lower, but then the entire helmet would be a loose fit around my head and my cheeks. I didn’t remove any of the padding because it was rather noticeable that this was NOT going to fit correctly, but I pulled it away enough to see that you can do so if you wish. When I drop the visor, there is a considerable gap between its lower edge and the top/bridge my nose. I am basically looking at the bottom of the visor, not through the visor. Note that the gap is from top to bottom, not front to back, which caused another problem. Perhaps it has something to do with the way the helmet sits too high, but when I try to lower the visor with my glasses on, the visor hits the top of my glasses and cannot be lowered any further. There is no way to push my glasses further back, the visor is just sits too far to the rear to accommodate them. I am aware that helmets are made to fit not just head sizes, but head shapes as well. I have what is termed an intermediate oval shaped head, and I suspect this helmet is made for someone with a more round noggin. As I pointed out above, moving to a larger size may solve the issue of sitting too high, and perhaps also the space front to back, which would possibly allow the visor to drop down further and pass over my glasses. But again, that would make it fit too loosely on the circumference of my head. I suspect the best solution would be to contact Triangle directly, however there is absolutely no contact information in the Amazon ad, or on the box, or in the instruction manual. Zero. Zip. Nada! No warranty info, nothing! Triangle has a website (which I had to Google) and you can contact them from there. But the phone number listed is in China! And they promise to reply to emails in 20 to 36 hours. Frankly, that is not what we are accustomed to here in the USA. I think the best thing to do is return this, and only buy from reputable sources in the future with US based customer service. As with many products being flogged on Amazon, if the price is too good to be true, it probably came from China….with all the attendant nightmares that can involve.

this helmet is really nice. material and finish on the outside is ON POINT> then theres the inside.. holy cow its super soft. Obviously like any new helmet, its pretty snug on first wear. takes a few times for it to fit a little better. one star taken away because when the sun visor comes down, i hits my glasses.. I have to pull it a little forward to clear the brim of the eye glasses.

First off, I ordered a large, which is too small for my large melon. Not a negative, just that these are pretty true to size. The build and quality of this helmet is surprisingly lightweight and sturdy, and the nice brown leather adds a touch of flair that gives it classy, vintage look. The drop down visor perfectly covers your eyes and isn't too dark. Definitely worth the but if you're into 3/4 helmets.

Great deal on a retro helmet - really like the hidden inner visor -- so you can have basically a full face helmet if you don't want to wear glasses. The buckle is easy and quicker to fasten/unfasten than the traditional D-buckle. The helmet is comfortable but seems to run a little smaller than others. I would order a size larger next time. Looks great - very pleased.

For under $60, the quality of this helmet is impressive. Feels like real leather! Super soft and matte feeling on the outside. The design is really nice. My husband liked how easy it was to buckle on and off. He was really happy with this quality of this helmet.
