This is a very nice and warm jacket. I an 5’ 10” and 150 lbs, and a medium size was perfect. I love the fit, and comfort this jacket provides. Zippers seem fine, plenty of pockets. There is room for layering underneath. But, the only complaint is the zipper zips from the left. Backwards to me, and is bothersome. I wonder if I got one made wrong, or if they are all wrong. ... show more

While the description says both "coat" and "jacket" - this is really light enough that I would call it a jacket, and NOT a coat. Having read the reviews before I bought it, I made sure to layer another vest underneath it, and I stayed toasty warm in 14⁰ F (-10⁰ C) weather while hiking in the mountains last week. While the pockets are handy to hold gloves, phone, and maybe snack or two - they worked well - but my personal preference would be for the inside pocket and outer pocket to be a tad deeper. They did work fine, though. The zippers are plastic. I really wish they were brass, for longevity - but they did the job. One of the zippers was a little "sticky" - but with a little more than some gentle persuasion, it closed up properly. I may lube it with some soap or wax to see if that helps. Fit. Some other reviews were complaining that the jacket was too big. Nah. It's MADE to fit over clothing and maybe other jackets. I normally wear a USA size L, and so knowing that I was going to layer clothing, I ordered an XL jacket. This worked well for me. ... show more

That zipper being on the wrong side is a common theme were seeing , Sadly I love the jacket , the build quality and the look is really sharp. The jacket can block out the wind nicely, its warm but the Pockets are third world . This is the weak link ! There thin Nylon, no warmth to put your hands, feel awful and the zipper angle is Awkward. For the Price still really nice, the Hood I could do without so tossed that . The extra pockets on the front outside and inside are really nice and easy to use. There is not tag inside for a quick hang in on a loop , I go the Navy blue , not to dark not to bright , they nailed it. Girl loves it on me, Im 5.11 and the large was to big , went with the Medium and fit better Could still wear an warmer underneath. ... show more

This coat was a decent purchase. Best things: It is warm (I live in the south though) and never had an issue over the winter. It was roomy and provided good coverage. Zipper worked well also. Material was solid and will easily hold up over time. The things I didnt like: The zipper was reversed with no way to fix (it zips on the left instead of the right). The jacket was very stiff but not uncomfortable. Wearing this in a car is difficult. It was also a bit too "poofy" for my taste and most likely caused from the material being too stiff. The young man who is autistic and absolutely loves this color of blue, loved the jacket. He hardly wants to take it off his mother said! I bought him XL and it fits perfectly. He is 6'-2" and about 190 lb. The arms are padded lightly but not the fleece lining that the rest of it has and for him, that's perfect.... Okay new part of the review. I would have put 5 stars because for the price it was a nice jacket. But the zipper is completely stuck and almost like glued after only a few wearings [has had less than 2 weeks] and there is a rip in the fabric on one side. I am waiting for his mother to return the jacket to me, as I cannot return for free without the original packaging. I bought the jacket Dec. 20th so do not have the original packaging. Amazon does offer to pick it up and they print out a label as long as you have a box for 7.99 so I'm going to go with that. Bottom line, the jacket just may have been defective and I am repurchasing it to see if the next one holds up better. If not, on to a jacket that is better made. I still say for the price it's worth a try. It looked very good. ... show more
