Ideal User: If you are male that is looking for a watch that you can wear for any occasion then you will love this Treehut Zebrawood and Ebony Wooden Watch. Not only does this watch look great with formal attire, but the wood matches perfectly with most casual outfits as well. Uniqueness: This Treehut watch truly sets itself apart from most other watches on the market. What makes it so unique is the fact that it is made of real wood and not just plastic that looks like wood. With that being said, the watch is also extremely lightweight. At just 3 ounces it barely feels like anything is on your wrist when wearing it. Durability/Reliability: One worry with wooden watches is that they aren't as durable as some other watches and are prone to break much faster; however, this Treehut watch includes a stainless-steel tri-fold clasp that helps keep the watch clasped around your wrist regardless of the physical activities you may endure. The buttons on the clasp allow for an easy release to take the watch off as well. The plastic covering over the watch face is also quite durable. I've had this product for over 6 months and have accidentally bumped the watch into different objects numerous times without even a scratch getting on the face. This is great if you are working with material or are in an environment that contains numerous scratch hazards. Cost: Many high-end watches these days will cost you well over $200-300. This Treehut watch includes that same high-end performance level for half the price. When you compare this watch to other wooden watches in the same price category you will find that this is one of the only ones that is made of real wood. You will also find that the 5-year battery life on this watch is better than almost all other watches in that price category. This Treehut watch really is a great deal. This is exactly what I was expecting and hoping for, and my husband loves it. It is extremely light, so I wouldn’t recommend wearing this as an everyday or around the house watch, as any damage will be less forgiving than a metal watch with sapphire face. This was a gift for our 5th/Wood anniversary, and is perfect. I was concerned, after reading reviews, that the face would not be easy to read. My husband is color blind and still has no issue reading and seeing the time markers on the dark face. We tried to size this ourselves, but ended up taking it to our local jeweler. Beautiful piece!
