I needed some very good thermal insulated drapes that where not too pricey and good quality. I got the "Pinch Pleated Blackout Curtains for Living Room, Linen Textured Look Pleated Drapes with Hooks and Rings for Bedroom 40" Wx90 L, 2 Panels, Dusty Pink, Thermal Insulated 95% Light Blocking" because the color on the website looked like a very light pink which I needed for my office. When I received the product it came packed in a reusable plastic storage pouch which is great for storage purposes. The rings and an extra hook where packaged separately since the actual hooks where already installed. The drapes themselves had a nice heavy feel to them and were soft. The drapes didn't come with instructions but adjusting the hook height is pretty self explanatory, just slide them down to the height you want and if you want to go back up you have to slide the hook all the way off and reinsert on the top again. Pros: -Heavy Weight -Thermal -ACTUALLY LIGHT BLOCKING -Very pale pink color -Adjustable height of hook Cons: -Plastic hooks and rings don't seem durable -the pale pink color can be a con if you're looking for a stronger pink When we put the drapes up in our office it was fast and easy. My husband really likes the rings because it's easier to open the drapes in the morning instead of having to push the curtains apart. The light blocking is great because we are a late sleeping household and most of our rooms have light blocking drapes, so that was a definite need. Adjusting the height of the hooks helps to hide the curtain rod, which I really liked. The curtain are very long and truly blackout. I put them up today and notice a big difference, no light filtered in and it kept the temperature of the room cooler. The pleated tops of the curtains gives it an elegant look while also being functional. The curtains also have multiple ways to hang. You can use them on a slider or the come with rings that can be adjusted to move higher or lower depending on the top coverage you’re looking for. Edited: I put these curtain up on the afternoon so they were more black out in the evening. With direct sunlight this morning. They still filter light but not completely blackout. They still provide good temperature control though. ... show more

The material for these curtains is good quality and are quite heavy. I like that they cane in with the plastic brackets already attached so it was very easy to put in the window. One thing I do not like is that they are not great blocking out the light. They must be placed about 3 to 4 inches higher to compensate for the loops at the top Also the color is more of a bone white not as white as pictured. ... show more
