  • *** UPDATE 3/8/24 - Don’t waste your money on this servo
Wow. Traxxas actually put out a good servo. Yes, it cost more than a perfect pass servo. Yes it’s not quite as strong and is way bigger but it’s a direct fit and works very well. Time will tell but with the upgraded servo (which should be in all XRT stock) it’s seem to do the job. That being said, it’s $25 more than the PP and those are the best servos on the market. I’ll update later. *** 3/8/2024 UPDATE ***. Yesterday I began having issues with the new servo. It was my first actual time taking it outside and was literally just warming it up. No jumps, bumps, speed nothing. The steering was acting funky but thought it could just be a new car so I gave it a chance. Now I’m not so sure. It’s acting like the end points are super narrow. I’ve tried to reset everything and start over, even taking the car apart to realign the servo, just to be safe. No fix. I am going to contact TRAXXAS on Monday which really sucks cause it’s the weekend) and see if they have any idea. This may be going back. I knew I shouldn’t have trusted TRAxxas and should’ve bought a PERFECT PASS servo. ... show more

  • I would not recommend this servo!
This servo stopped working altogether the very first time I drove my X-maxx. The truck started shutting itself off while I was setting the initial end points and trim. Then after driving it and it shutting itself off multiple times I decided to put my batteries back on the charger. After that it ran pretty well for about 10 minutes. Servo stopped functioning and then the truck shut off again after I picked it up. Checked all connections and nothing was loose. Not sure what the issue is with Traxxas servos but this is the second one that quit working on me since the end of September. I will be sending this back for a refund and go with another brand. ... show more

  • 👍
The media could not be loaded. The servo saver spring doesn’t fit the Maxx, but it does add much more torque and speed.

  • Looks good, for a week.
First got it and it was amazing but idk if it was the servo horn or the servo but my middle point has drastically changed but that might not be the servo’s fault, what could be the servo’s fault is how loose it is and I feel it’s lost all its strength. The other day when I was driving it, it couldn’t even turn the tires on grass. Idk if I got a lemon or not but I might call traxxas and try to see if I can get a refund because it is not worth the $140 I paid for it. ... show more
